I seen that somewhere that someone mentioned that this song was about vampires and got pretty reamed on for it. I thought the same thing but after I read the lyrics that i've seen posted it actually could go with that theme. Especially the 200 or (2000) years part. That said this song could be about many other things but i was just wondering if they have done an explanation interview like they have for all their other albums. By the way im not some newbie who just got into them i been with them since the first album but im drunk just like Caleb was when he wrote the lyrics for cold desert and forgot he recorded it  |

well its a shame that the guy got reamed for being completely right. I dont know what basis they had for disagreeing with him but its obvious the song is about a vampire. Just listen to the lyrics...

LOL oh how i love drunk postings!  I LOVE Closer,it's my favorite KOL song (and in my top 5 songs of all time too)...i can't remember where i heard that it was about vampires but i'm pretty sure i heard one of them say it in an interview about loving vampires and the Lost Boys movie. Maybe somebody else knows. I'm just gonna play the song now and enjoy it's awesomeness By the way,did you create your name on here when you were drunk too,cuz it says "teh" kingsofleon LMAO |
