Is anyone going to the Columbus, Ohio show on January 27? I live in Columbus and expected to go, but when I went to buy tickets THEY WERE ALL SOLD OUT. I'm sure it has to do with the fact that it is the only place they are coming to in this general area. Its great for Kings of Leon that they can sell out a show here, but not for people like me that can't pay up to $300 for tickets (many people are reselling them online).
Is anyone going, and do you know of anyone who is looking to sell tickets at a reasonable price?

NCOX and MBT will be there. Should be a good show. I wonder how many small venues they'll be playing after the exposure they'll get from playing Madison Square Garden? (Which NCOX and I will also be attending).  |

I think it's the end of small venues. Too bad, but I'm glad I snagged tickets when they went on sale for Columbus. I did notice that they were selling them on eBay - f'in touts.

I mean I'm appreciative because I wouldn't have been able to see them if the brokers hadn't put tickets up. But I still hate them with a passion.

They are playing in Indianapolis on Jan 21. I've been to Columbus for soccer (oops... footie!) matches many times, and it is not a bad drive at all.
The gig in Indy will be at a great little 2,500 seater very near downtown Indianapolis. Lots of places nearby for befores and afters if that's your thing. Cheap hotels just outside the downtown area if you want to stay the night, and plenty of rooms for less than $100 on the way back towards Ohio if you want to do that as well.
Tix are SOLD OUT here as well, but ebay has PLENTY of seats for $50-100. Even an auction for TWO floor tickets in row F, at $139 right now with only 14 hours to go......
Two people could drive to Indy, eat dinner along fantastic Massachuttes Avenue right near the venue, have a few cocktails, go to the show, have a few after, get a hotel room and drive home the next morning for less than $350.

yes, have fun hun! I tried to get tickets to the show, but it looks like it just wasn't meant to be. I know I'm greedy when it comes to KOL shows, but I can't help it. I wanted to make this show my even #20. haha. Oh well. :-P

i just wanna say nicole that i'm so happy that you ended up deciding to go to this gig, i'm sure you won't regret it!
BTW, since we're all tallying up here, MSG will be my 9th KOL gig...gotta make it to 10, gotta make it to 10!!!!!
