I wish i could do that,just start over with a new life. If i had the money i'd be quitting my job,moving to where the school is,and i'd study music for 4 years. I wish i was in your shoes. Nah, you don't want to be me right now. I'm happily denying away but at some point I know I'll break a little bit when I realise the magnitude of how serious this is. I don't know why I'm so dependent, I just feel like I need my best friend or my bf with me wherever I go, and although going to uni could lead to the career of my lifetime, it'll tear my friendship and relationship apart. Me and my best friend have been together since 13, and everywhere I've gone, she's managed to come with me. It'll just be terrible if we get seperated. She knows me like no one else does. And it's a hell of a long story but me and my bf have had such a terrible ride and I'm so incredibly lucky to have him now. After years of torture and tears, we finally get together and now we're headed in totally different directions. I'm moving 2 hours North of my hometown, he's jetting off to California. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited to go to uni and I know it'll put me in the greatest stead for the career I want. I just can't bear that I have to choose my career over my greatest friend and a boy that I think I could actually be in love with  xxx Razz you poor thing, it's a horrible thing to have to leave friends, family and your boyf, and you're really brave to do it, no matter how scared you feel! And uni will do much more for you than putting you on your career path, you will learn what it is to make it on your own, you will also meet loads of new friends and acquaintances, you will discover a side to yourself that you may have been too afraid to show around the people you now know. Your friend can always be your friend if you two work at it (I've known my oldest friend for 30 years!) And hopefully you and your boyf can work something out. But either way i think its great your taking this step and good luck with it all!  |

Thank you both, it's comforting to think about the freedom I'll have. I'm terribly dependent and I love to have someone be there for me, but I keep forgetting that uni will give me independence. It'll be good to run my own life and make my own choices. I've been in some pretty screwy relationships where boys wanted to run my life. I'm done with that now. No matter what happens now, I have to learn to run my own life and stop giving in to stupid boys who bully me out of their own insecurity. I think once I get over the shock of the change, I'll grow into it, and probably enjoy it. I think I'm gonna go to the town my uni is in on Saturday to get to know it a little better I just dread the day I leave. I've lost a lot of people through various circumstances, and it never gets any easier. xxx |

Yeah Matt, we can hook up trust me, just wait until I'm done with uni, then I'll be all set... Ah screw it, get yo sexy ass here now! I actually took a random adventure to Leeds to check out my new hometown today. It was pretty spur of the moment, just hopped on the train and 40 mins later, I was walking around appreciating the place. It really took the edge off the nerves; I feel better knowing a bit about the place. So I'm happy today  xxx |

That's awesome you checked it out and you liked it! I think its exciting to go to a new city,stay there a while,it would be fun to live somewhere else,i can't do it right now cuz of my job,but,thats why i envy you |
