hey guys. newbie here. figured that you guys wanted to know the setlist. i was making my notes so here you go
closer crawl my party razz molly's chambers king of the rodeo joe's head fans revelry milk four kicks pistol of fire wasted time sex on fire the bucket notion use somebody on call cold desert trani encore: knocked up charmer slow night so long black thumbnail
like some of you guys, i was pretty surprised about the lack of manhattan. i thought that one would be a definite. crowd was pretty lively, plenty of 'woo hooing' and everything. thought caleb might have run off to be sick, seems like i'm not the only one. bless his southern cotton socks

It kills me how they play more songs overseas. Don’t get me wrong, I know they are bigger over there and the fans deserve it…but it breaks my heart that I’ll never get to hear them play “Joe’s Head” live. That’s the one song I’ve wanted to hear live since I got into them. Not to mention they play more of their other songs like “Notion” for example. Ahh, one day I hope to get overseas and catch one of their shows.

it was amazing!! i was sort of front row, like say second row, next to matthew all night i thought the set list was great, a good mix as well! i thought the place came alive with sex on fire and use somebody. i had some tit next to me being a tit, he was constantly giving the finger and making wan**r gestures to the band! to me what's the point, getting to the front then doing that! he was the wan**r if anything! roll on june 15th now! took over 200 photos, some better than overs of course! i've added a few on to facebook, have a looksie www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=192185&l=adc78&id=640870456

I was there too!!!!! Highlights for me were Cold Desert then Straight into Trani which I was so happy about because I love that song live!!!! and it was so nice to hear Cold Desert live too! Other Highlights were My Party, Four Kicks and the Bucket!!! Loved it!! I saw KOL last December in manchester too! I think I had more fun this time because I was a lot closer.. even though I was seated! just in now! it was fantastic, first time i've heard trani live!! i agree with all the above!! first time seeing them seated too which was too far away!!!!!!!! but everybody was up and moving around me and the audience did plenty of cheering, not everyone knew every song but overall i thought they got plenty of love!! newton faulkner was a few rows down from me and i think he was talking to jessie (couldn't swear to it though!) before the start...and i waited to see them (Kings that is, of course!) afterwards...there was about 10-12 of us in the end and they came out at 1am - IN THE BUS - and went straight past, didn't even see them through the blacked out glass - so sad it was bloomin' freezing too newton faulkner came out about 10/15 minutes before they left, i reckon he tired them out so they couldn't be bothered coming out in the cold to see us nobody stopped him but i'm sure he would have chatted, loads of people were getting their photo with him in the arena. oh i'm so sad, i've been to 3 gigs, couldn't wait at the others and then when i do force people with me to wait they drive straight past well, i'm gutted, but not bitter - they're human after all but i've got a banging headache from all the cold - and i was too far away to take any decent pictures... - but a good night's sleep will get it all in perspective because it was such a good show - the more you hear them the more you love them - such a beautiful addiction!! roll on paris Hey velvet10, I think I might have been sat near you, because I thought I saw Newton Faulkner a few rows down and to the left of me!!! Was you sat (if you're looking at the stage from the back) to the right? I was right next to the stage. Fucking gutted that I only saw the last two songs by M83 though, really like them too. good gigggggg!!!! merry christmas! EDIT: I think I'm still on a high as you can tell from all the exclamation marks haha i think you might have been in the next block over towards the stage from me? cos he was about 10 (?) rows down to me and 4/5 seats over to the right! did you see him talking to jessie?? it's really weird when you are at a KoL gig cos you know there's got to be HA'ers all around but you don't know who is and who isn't (obviously!) but you can't go round asking!!! avidblue - do you have long blonde hair?? i saw someone really bouncing round in that block - could it have been you ?? thanks savanna and montana for commiserations!! karma! i noticed matt is really gracious with the crowd too - he makes sure he faces all round the arena clapping the crowd and doing a little thank you motion with a bow - you really feel like they are looking at you! even though you're there with thousands of others (17k, omg!?) you feel like it's just you and them *sigh*

i dont think the crowd was dead...not where i was stodd anyway i think it was a lot of new fans if you get my meaning. ones who have only heard the latest albums and havent followed them from the beggining like most of us on here so the old songs didnt get much of a reaction apart from people who knew them. i overheard the security guards talking and there was 17,000 people there last night, maybe a bit more. thats got to be an amazing feeling! xx maybe dead was the wrong word, but compared to blackpool for bott tour the crowd was much less intense and i was about 3 rows back drifting between caleb and matt. was a shame to see a lot of people only come alive during sex on fire and use somebody but thats what you have to expect when they start making such radio friendly songs. was nice to be around a few fans who were into joes head and the other earlier tunes though. the atmosphere was good but when a tune like wasted time comes on i just wanna go crazy lol, but i would look a bit of a dick doing that on my own.

i wanted the SOF fans to leave after that was played because i knew they wouldn't appreciate trani and other oldies!! i was infront of jared and when trani was played - apart from me and hubby and two guys 3/4 rows behind us - nobody knew it!! i shook hands with jessie just before she chatted to newton faulkner ... she is gorgeous! i think the camera crew was just filming for the overhead screens ... but i could be wrong anyway it was my 10th show - it might be my last ... so glad it was one of the best i have been to! ...... one thing really annoyed me though - 2 girls at the front who thought they could stand there without being knocked around a bit!! WTF! if you are in the pit it gets rough ... deal with it!

no problem gettin knocked around a bit, but i saw girls around me gettin elbows to the head and shit like that, no need for that really. but to be fair it aint a good idea for a girl wearin high heels to go near the front anyway.

I was there it was out of this world we were at the front in front of caleb! The crowd were quite aggressive i nearly had a panic attack at one point cause some guy punched me in the back as he wanted to get infront of me and i was having none of it so he carried on by pouring a pint of lager all down my back! NICE but it was great to hear them sing some oldies and apart from a couple of losers i had a gr8 night!
