I'm so jealous that they've started playing Trani again. Anyway, it sounds like an amazing show! Naww poor Caleb for getting sick.

just in now! it was fantastic, first time i've heard trani live!! i agree with all the above!! first time seeing them seated too which was too far away!!!!!!!! but everybody was up and moving around me and the audience did plenty of cheering, not everyone knew every song but overall i thought they got plenty of love!! newton faulkner was a few rows down from me and i think he was talking to jessie (couldn't swear to it though!) before the start...and i waited to see them (Kings that is, of course!) afterwards...there was about 10-12 of us in the end and they came out at 1am - IN THE BUS - and went straight past, didn't even see them through the blacked out glass - so sad it was bloomin' freezing too newton faulkner came out about 10/15 minutes before they left, i reckon he tired them out so they couldn't be bothered coming out in the cold to see us nobody stopped him but i'm sure he would have chatted, loads of people were getting their photo with him in the arena. oh i'm so sad, i've been to 3 gigs, couldn't wait at the others and then when i do force people with me to wait they drive straight past well, i'm gutted, but not bitter - they're human after all but i've got a banging headache from all the cold - and i was too far away to take any decent pictures... - but a good night's sleep will get it all in perspective because it was such a good show - the more you hear them the more you love them - such a beautiful addiction!! roll on paris

I totally agree with the above it was loads better atmos then the gig at sheffield . I was seated (opp block to velvet!) and it was good. I LOVED trani live it was the first time i heard it done like that I am was just like 'OMFG' thats the best thing i have heard!!! Yeah something wrong with Caleb.... did not seam himself at the beginging, and was talking to Nat a lot more than normal so when he went off and nacho come on i though no way is Nacho going to carry on for him!... he could have been a little drunk or somthing as he went barmy when they were playing 4 Kix (i think it was that one) he was swinging himself everywhere and doing loads of actions. Also, dead funny a purple towel or top got lobbed on stage and nacho ran on to kick it off but it got caught in his feet so he nearly tripped.... all the band were watching and started laughing when he nearly went over Overall top gig, great music, boys did look like they were having a laugh thoughout the night, but also seamed odd (in a good way). Gutted i have to wait until next year now!

also just on my way into work i remembers these as well. 1) matt played the guitar with his teeth again ... made me laugh 2)full film crew were there last night... don't know if they have been at every gig but they were not at sheffield. 3)Caleb kicked over his mic at the end again 4) this was the best for me... when they went off before the encor Calab just stood in the middle of the stage leant against the speaker, took his ear bits out and just stoo for about 1 min and watched the crowd. You could tell by the look on his face he was just taking it all in and thinking somthing like 'oh my god this is amazing' and i felt so happy for him. I am sure i will remember more thoughout the day ... its coming to me in waves!

i remember the tshirt thing now, a lot of tshirts and stuff were thrown on stage but they were proper disgusting.
i loved it when caleb did that at the end and i noticed that matt always turned round to his right to play to the people in the tiers there so they could see and i thought that was really sweet. Knocked up was amazing and they were so pleased we sang along. im really glad they played old stuff aswell, a lot of people on the front row with me sang there hearts out with the old stuff.

I was there too!!!!! Highlights for me were Cold Desert then Straight into Trani which I was so happy about because I love that song live!!!! and it was so nice to hear Cold Desert live too! Other Highlights were My Party, Four Kicks and the Bucket!!! Loved it!! I saw KOL last December in manchester too! I think I had more fun this time because I was a lot closer.. even though I was seated! just in now! it was fantastic, first time i've heard trani live!! i agree with all the above!! first time seeing them seated too which was too far away!!!!!!!! but everybody was up and moving around me and the audience did plenty of cheering, not everyone knew every song but overall i thought they got plenty of love!! newton faulkner was a few rows down from me and i think he was talking to jessie (couldn't swear to it though!) before the start...and i waited to see them (Kings that is, of course!) afterwards...there was about 10-12 of us in the end and they came out at 1am - IN THE BUS - and went straight past, didn't even see them through the blacked out glass - so sad it was bloomin' freezing too newton faulkner came out about 10/15 minutes before they left, i reckon he tired them out so they couldn't be bothered coming out in the cold to see us nobody stopped him but i'm sure he would have chatted, loads of people were getting their photo with him in the arena. oh i'm so sad, i've been to 3 gigs, couldn't wait at the others and then when i do force people with me to wait they drive straight past well, i'm gutted, but not bitter - they're human after all but i've got a banging headache from all the cold - and i was too far away to take any decent pictures... - but a good night's sleep will get it all in perspective because it was such a good show - the more you hear them the more you love them - such a beautiful addiction!! roll on paris Hey velvet10, I think I might have been sat near you, because I thought I saw Newton Faulkner a few rows down and to the left of me!!! Was you sat (if you're looking at the stage from the back) to the right? I was right next to the stage. Fucking gutted that I only saw the last two songs by M83 though, really like them too. good gigggggg!!!! merry christmas! I don't like that they've stopped playing Manhatttan! It's too good to leave out of a setlist! But thanks girls for all of your stories As usual I love reading them.

I remember seeing a film crew at Glasgow, someone's said before that they document everything...more home movies perhaps? And I love the look on their faces when they see how crazy the crowd is going, or just how massive the crowd is. It must be an amazing feeling to know that people know your songs, and care about you enough to go see you

1) matt played the guitar with his teeth again ... made me laugh that was for closer and hes actually screaming into his pick up on his guitar in order to make those atmospheric screams that you hear in the song. was a great gig, crowd was dead compared to empress ballroom a couple of years ago though, which was dissapointing.

i dont think the crowd was dead...not where i was stodd anyway
i think it was a lot of new fans if you get my meaning. ones who have only heard the latest albums and havent followed them from the beggining like most of us on here so the old songs didnt get much of a reaction apart from people who knew them.
i overheard the security guards talking and there was 17,000 people there last night, maybe a bit more. thats got to be an amazing feeling!
