WOOOOOOOW finally got a chance to come on here and say how Amazing the O2 gig was!!!! was gutted they never played Trani - that would have been the icing on the cake for me. i shouted and screamed and sung soooo much i sound like a bloke with my sore throat! im still smilling smilling smilling smilling smilling edit - i all most forgot ... we got at the o2 at about 3 to get parked etc ... went to the cinema to pass the time and at about half 5 on our way out , you had to go through passage ways to lead you out in which you could see inside the arena through the smallest doors ... we couldnt see anything other than seats but i could hear CRRRRAAAAWWWWWLLLL so they we doing there sound check ... that got me mega excited!!! Oh yea and Molly (peps) i think i saw you in starbucks? ?

Thank you Sorrell Is this thee Sorrell and Louise? You guys are awesome if I'm not mistaking anyone. haha WHAT A NIGHT. I'd say we can thank Jared for M83...(sorry Jared, I only assume that was you picking them) ...after hearing so many people say it wasn't an appropriate opener considering their style and not alot of positive feedback.... I'm not regretting missing them (I got in late) What I did regret was missing Closer and Crawl (the blokes next to me told me that's what I missed anyway..) standing in the queue for drinks The set felt short for some reason... it wouldn't have been my favourite gig so far but I put at least half of that down to the fact I was sitting very high up away from the stage and I've never sat at a gig...its way too weird especially for a band I'd get so excited for. I'm also so used to being practically at the front.... Charmer is always good live, I love it even though I'd hardly listen to it elsewhere, and the bass line is pretty killer... Also liked how they tweaked Knocked Up... though last summer it was better feedback wise with people whoa-ing for practically forever..... set list could have been better arranged. Good to hear Joe's head since I haen't heard it in forever, couldn't get it out of my head afterwards!! Still enjoyed the night and the gig, was practically hoarse in the throat afterwards singing every word to every song, dancing my ass off ect. I'm only a tough critic because when you've seen them at their best you can't help compare each time. It's unrealistic to expect them to replicate their best show every night... them tired old boys are the hardest working/touring in the business. Hello, yep it is the Louise lol, it was lovely to meet you

^^ Lovely to have met all you girlies The gig was a little underwhelming for me, possibly because nothing could really top Brighton. It was great to hear Notion and Wasted Time, but like everyone else I missed Trani and Arizona...and McFearless!!! Dunno why they left that out . The band seemed to be really into it and giving it their all, and I felt proud of them when I looked back at all those thousands of people dancing in their seats. They've come a long way... /nostalgia

Ohhh. So is it safe to say that it's a pretty good place to see them?
I want to try to see them in the UK this summer, I'm thinking of either the O2 or Manchester.
Any opinions..?

I've only ever been to the O2, and it's pretty big all the places they play in the UK are now, and i much prefere the smaller ones. but if you get close enough then its enjoyable.well it is even if your far away. i cant really say manchester or london. arn't the UK gigs next year sold out or are you gonna get them on ebay?

If I have luck with these Ohio tickets, then I'll probably try to snag tix for Europe also, because I see that there are some up there..
Manchester you say?..hmm....

If you wanna come to anywhere in europe, id go somewhere other than the uk, because the shows will be much smaller, but then again thats just me. also depends on what time you could come too

Yeah..but I want to visit England, it was supposed to be my graduation gift.
So visiting PLUS seeing a KOL show there would be incredible. Plus I'm already going to a small show in January, so it wouldn't be too big of a deal to be in an arena next, you know?
But I don't know, right now it's just an idea, I need to focus on this Jan. gig first hahah!
Which show are you going to next Charlotte?

yeah would suggest manchester. fair enough in london everywheres easy to get to. but in manchester i lot of things are within walking distance. cheap-premier hotels are just nearby depending on how much you want to spend. also lots of pubs and clubs if you were to go onto somewhere to keep partying. do love london, its a hour away from me. but i think travelling abroad it maybe easier to stay somewhere less confusing and walkable.. and that i think is manchester.
