Sorrell, do you remeber the really fat bouncer with a HUGE beer belly standing in front of us, whenever a cround surfer approached we were like "not the belly, not the belly, please dont shove your beer belly in our faces" as he dashed forward to pull people over the barrier.

^Karma for that video mrsnfollowill!  I've still got to upload mine yet. I got most of Cold Desert & Caleb's speech, and a few other short clips. Oooh okay, there didn't seem to be that much people in there when we went in, I was suprised that I got to be exactly where I wanted to be . Haha yeahh the crowd seemed to be mental all round, my knees and ribs are all bruised :-\. Some boy pinched my friend to try to get her to move  . and I got about 5 people lifted over my head :-\. The guys who were recording the crowd or taking pictures or whatever kept getting in the way of my picture taking  hah. Oh god, I don't have a problem with pushing or crowd surfing most of the time unless it's reaaaally bad 'cause I think it's worth it for the Kings but I was so gutted at the O2 'cause like I said before, they crowd surfed over my head throughout the whole of Cold Desert I was so upset 'cause I couldn't concentrate on it  But I got such an amazing performance of it at Brighton that I'm not too fussed.. That's really cheeky pinching your friend, why the hell would someone do that. Man that makes me angry. Nahh I didn't mind the pushing, yeahh there was loads of crowd surfing during Cold Desert :-\ also another song aswell but I can't remember what one. Ohh you're lucky then This is the first time I've seen them live I'm not going again untill June soo I'm probably gunna see if they've got any tickets for their european tour left, even though I've got like no money left Ohh I know its pathetic, asif my friend was gunna move after that! |

^^I'm seeing them 3 times in December (got wembley left!) and going to Paris next year. I've been lucky enough to see them quite a few times this year as well. So much money spent on KOL! I'd run out of money before I could get tickets for June haha. Thank you Sorrell Is this thee Sorrell and Louise?  You guys are awesome if I'm not mistaking anyone. haha WHAT A NIGHT. I'd say we can thank Jared for M83...(sorry Jared, I only assume that was you picking them) ...after hearing so many people say it wasn't an appropriate opener considering their style and not alot of positive feedback.... I'm not regretting missing them (I got in late) What I did regret was missing Closer and Crawl (the blokes next to me told me that's what I missed anyway..) standing in the queue for drinks The set felt short for some reason... it wouldn't have been my favourite gig so far but I put at least half of that down to the fact I was sitting very high up away from the stage and I've never sat at a gig...its way too weird especially for a band I'd get so excited for. I'm also so used to being practically at the front.... Charmer is always good live, I love it even though I'd hardly listen to it elsewhere, and the bass line is pretty killer... Also liked how they tweaked Knocked Up... though last summer it was better feedback wise with people whoa-ing for practically forever..... set list could have been better arranged. Good to hear Joe's head since I haen't heard it in forever, couldn't get it out of my head afterwards!!  Still enjoyed the night and the gig, was practically hoarse in the throat afterwards singing every word to every song, dancing my ass off ect. I'm only a tough critic because when you've seen them at their best you can't help compare each time. It's unrealistic to expect them to replicate their best show every night... them tired old boys are the hardest working/touring in the business. |

Oh wow, now I really wish I'd seen it....damn you queue lines! Wonder if Matt's ever seen T Bone Walker (so underrated) do the teeth thing and weird positions long before Hendrix.....ironic that both legends have cherokee lines in their family too |
