World Music Awards

I was watching the world music awards last night and saw a familiar band up for best rock act.

The nominees were:

Coldplay
Metallica
REM
Kings of Leon

I thought i would share this, in case anyone missed it. I was so fired up when they announced them. Coldplay ended up with the award. To be in the same group as REM and Coldplay is huge.

The World Music Awards arent major, but it shows they are starting to get some credit for their great music.

Was it the actual awards last night or did they just show it on tv last night? Because I remember watching something a couple of weeks ago that I think migth have been that but I never seen the part with the KOL nomination. I only saw the killers on it. And Estelle...dreadful,

I remember seeing the World Music Awards on channel 4 for a couple of weeks ago, at least i think it was them. but i didn't see anything about KOL.

it aired last night. it wasnt live. i think were just a bit behind here in the states.
they were definitely a nominee. they played a clip of sex on fire.
