Oh wow, I can't believe you guys met them, I'm so jealous! I soooo wanted to stay but I couldn't as I had to run and get the last train home to Edinburgh. But it was such an amazing gig! Oh god oh god I still can't believe you met them! Awh it's such a pity you had to leave I thought about it myself when my fingers and toes went numb but decided against it! It was well worth the wait and the frost bite! If I get ill from it I will be sending the Followills the medical bill! Good for you on waiting, it was well worth it! I knew that last year they didn't come out and meet fans so that's awesome that they came out to meet the Scottish fans

Last night was the best night of my life. Feckin amazing. The gig was brilliant, they all looked like they were enjoying it so much. That was the most animated I've ever seen Caleb, he was talking a lot, walking to either side of the stage, gesturing like he usually does in Charmer, but with some extra stuff added in, I can't remember what song it was but he had his arms up in the air, like in the way you would to show muscles? You get me? And I think it was at the start of The Bucket, Jared played a note when he shouldn't have started yet, and he turned round to Caleb and Caleb made a sorta funny angry face (not like the Lowlands video, it's like he was cool with it, was laughing it off) and then Jared started laughing. The story about Use Somebody was nice, I wasn't expecting that. And his speech before Manhattan was brilliant. He said America was trying to claim them, and people were booing and stuff. Then he said that we can't let them, and they know that we did it. And he said "You made us the Kings" So when they were playing Manhattan and it got to the bit "it's all for you, and what you've found" Caleb face just looked so sincere and he was nodding his head and his eyes just looked amazing. It actually made me cry a little bit, and I couldn't sing the rest of the song, I just stood there, just so grateful that I was seeing them. Before Black Thumbnail at the end, he said "Well this is it" and thanked us again. Black Thumbnail was pretty awesome. Then they were all saying bye and Jared walked over to Matthew and said something to him and they were laughing, and then I think Jared thought they went off at Matthew's side of the stage, so Matthew had to point him in the right direction lol. And meeting them after was the icing on the cake. They are the nicest guys ever. So surprised that people waited for them (in the freezing rain might I add!). By the time they came out there was only maybe 10/12 people there, and they made sure everyone got stuff signed. I asked Jared to sign my Scotland flag, and he said no and I was like what?! And he said "oh I thought you said have I seen your Scotland flag" and then he signed it. Nathan signed it in black pen and that turned out fine. But Caleb Matthew & Jared used the green and I think it must've smudged when I put it in my bag or something cause it's pretty much just green blobs! But they did sign it lol! When I asked Caleb to sign the flag I handed him my pen, and he went to sign my pen with his pen, and I was like no the flag! And he was like ah ok lol. I asked Jared and Caleb if they had a good show, Jared said it was incredible, that we were really loud and crazy. Caleb said yeah he couldn't really hear much, but we were really loud. Then he said Merry Christmas, so everyone shouted it back lol. It was so calm and they don't make you feel uncomfortable at all, because they respond to you, ya know? I thought I wouldn't be able to say anything, but I was feckin chatting away! I have to say, they are all 100 million billion times more good looking in real life. All of them. I know have a soft spot for each King. I felt Caleb was the most intimidating, because he has this sort of presence, but you can tell he's also really shy and humble. Also during the show, someone threw a glowstick on stage, and Caleb picked it up and threw it back, and my friend got it and gave it to me I wish now I'd got it signed, but ah well! I'm so glad we waited. I have to say, my patience was kinda running out, and I was thinking about leaving, but I knew I would'be regretted it. Especially cause we'd waited so long already. But the freezing cold and rain was totally worth it. And I'd do it all again Picture time. I didn't take one of Nathan, cause he was the first one out, and I was totally kinda mesmerised by his eyes. He when he walked past me, he smelled so good, and I was like "Man you smell good" and he just laughed lol. Caleb's glowstick Matt signing my sister's ticket Jared - absolute legend Caleb smiling, well you can only see half of it, damn fence, this might have been when he was singing tropical heatwave lol (look at Colette94's post if you don't know what I'm on about) Caleb signing my Scotland flag and holding my pen. I took a couple of videos - Milk, Cold Desert & Manhattan - but I haven't uploaded them yet, but I'll post the links when I do

Thank you for those photos, Katie, they are awesome! No problemo. I meant to say as well, thanks to their security guard. He brought loads of pens for the guys to use, and had a flashlight so they could see what they were doing.

Those photos are so cute! They're all adorable..I've heard on multiple occasions that they all smell good, It makes me happy Also love the bit about you getting choked up during Manhattan-when I saw them play it live I felt the same way, it's a beautiful song!! Karma for the pics Also it's funny that none of them could understand the Scottish accent And I looked it up--tropical heatwave is a song from "No Business Like show business" and Marilyn Monroe sings it, LOL

Makes more sense now! Yeah I've always just said Manhattan was a good song, but I think along with what Caleb said before it, and the whole night as well, and the fact that it felt like I waited forever for that show, and now I don't know when I'll see them again. Caleb did say at the end, see you next time. Hope that's soon!

Hey guys, I am just home!! What an amazing night!!!! The first amazing thing was the fabulous lady working in the box office of SECC who changed our tickets from seating to standing because we told her we had come from Ireland etc. She was so nice and I am so grateful, I could have kissed her. We managed to get right up the front, slightly stage left to please all tastes Crowd went mental when the Kings came on and I nearly died so we moved back a bit, as a result I kinda missed Crawl and My Party cause i was trying to stay standing and not get squashed to death. Setlist was brill, Joes Head, happy happy!!! They were on top form, to be honest I spent most of the night staring at Matthew and got over 500 pics of him and a few of the rest And a vid (will post them all later). I thought that guy pissing on Ruth would ruin the nite for her but the trooper carried on and ended up beating a few girls up to get Nates drumstick. Heh, she didnt really but a few young wans got other sticks and they were like "whats the drummers name" etc No trani and arizona but the whole trip was so amazing I didnt want to dwell on it After such an amazing day and night none of us were giving up on meeting the boys and I badly wanted one pic with Matt. i swear one pic would make me happy forever more. After wandering around getting fobbed off by loads of people we eventually found where they were. Unfortunately we had to hang out on the other side of a really tall railing so there wasnt gonna be much chance of pics with the boys. We waited for about 2 hours and eventually they came out, Nate and Jessie first and I kinda missed him so moved to get his autograph but then Ruth & Montana were like "Claire, Claire, its Matt" so my heart skipped a number of beats and my legs started to buckle a little, I actually couldnt believe he was walking toward me and I was starstruck. I couldnt even speak, he was chatting away with his super sexy accent, he looked amazing. He took my ticket and signed it and handed it back and I was barely able to say thank you. Eventually Montana said "Matt, you have to talk to Claire" so he looked at me and nodded and smiled, i think he knew I was a bit nervous and he was so super cute and amazingly more gorgeous in real life....more amazingly sweet and beautiful in real life than I could ever have imagined and now I am even more obsessed, did anyone think that was possible??? Then Jared came over talking away like a mad thing so I said "Hey Jared, theres a rumour going around that U2 are opening up for you guys in Dublin, is there any truth???" He laughed and said he'd love them to but that was just about the stupidest thing he'd ever heard Montana told all the boys that we were seeing them in Dub, London, Belfast and NYC too (between us), she said "MSG" though and Jared was like "MSG in Dublin", heh heh, silly moo I completely missed Caleb coming out and someone asked where he was I made some smart comment about him shining his shoes and he was right in front of me.....oops. He was soooooooooooooo nice tho and so normal and funny. He signed the tiny piece of paper that the lovely security guard went to get after I had nothing for Jared to sign....noone else was signing that ticket. I love them all, they are amazing. I still must get a pic of Matt & I and I have no idea how I'm gonna go about it!!!! Brightlights we were talking to your friend Leigh, she was sooooo nice!! And Colette, thanks so much for letting me touch your pen It was so nice to meet you. I dont remember meeting Katie who has posted that amazing pic of Matt from through the rails, i couldnt even get it together in Matts presence to turn on my camera Eventually we all left but myself, Montana and Ruth tried to thumb a lift on the tourbus............it was very funny but needless to say they didnt stop, got a huge wave and smile from the driver though Oh and one of the roadies driving one of the big trucks was so nice, he stopped and handed a few drumsticks out the window to a few of the girls. Totally awesome night............pics on the way asap!! xxx
