Folks, I got pissed on, I kid you not! In the middle of Manhattan a guy pissed on me! I felt like killing him - how gross! Moments later I get felt up by another guy. I guess the pissing is worse as the smell stays on you?

^Yeah I’ve heard of people pissing in cups then throwing it (one I’ve been witness to I’m afraid) but openly urinating?? That’s downright disgusting. Glad you gave people a slap, there’s always a minority of twats!!

Oh actually I forgot to mention the real downside to the night! 99.9% of the Scottish people we met were fantastic but there always seems to be a few d*ckheads floating about. Folks, I got pissed on, I kid you not! In the middle of Manhattan a guy pissed on me! I felt like killing him - how gross! Moments later I get felt up by another guy. I am not even going to repeat what he did because it still shocks me! I gave him a slap too! W*nkers! I'm guessing you're the Irish girl I was talking to at the end. I was wearing the skull BOTT t shirt. Was a great night. Cold Desert was amazing, reinforced as my favourite. Dissappointed there was no Trani or Arizona though

OMG!! what a brilliant gig, loved every minute of it, I was right at the barrier infront of Jared, the crowd seemed to be really up for it and knew pretty much every song, thought Notion was brilliant live and also pistol of Fire, Caleb was jigging away during Manhatten i was laughing he seemed to be in his own world LOL, couldnt really see Nathan until Knocked up when he stood up and drank his beer for the crowd! I couldnt believe how loud the crowd were during sex on fire i couldnt hear Caleb at one point (but thats a good scottish crowd for you!). I saw Lily come out for Notion, she was at the bottom at the side of the stage she looked over and i waved to her, she such a sweetie, then on the encore Jessie, Alisa and Lily came out to watch their boys, Lily and Alisa were smiling away. Jared's facial expressions were brilliant he's so serious! LOL he gave me the death stare at one point (not sure why i deserved that! LOL). Did anyone notice the sound problems again? At one point i think after wasted time, Caleb went up to one of the sound guys and was giving him what for, he was not happy, but i have to say guys if you sound checked you might not have these issues (we were told when we were waiting to get in that they wouldnt be soundchecking) that was my only downside (well that and no trani) as Caleb was constantly looking over and going over to the sound guys, i thought one of the guitars sounded a bit off during SNSL but it could have been because i was right next to the speakers. Overall loved every minute of it, i thought they slowed down a few of the oldies though, mollys chambers, pistol of fire seemed a lot slower paced but brilliant non the less, i loved Calebs speeches he doesnt say a lot but boy when he does talk he knows how to work the crowd (you are the KINGS boys!) Lastly i had to get the bus back to edinburgh but my mate Leigh stayed on and met them, got her drumstick and ticket signed, she said the boys were lovely and they couldnt believe they had been waiting in the freezing cold all that time, cant believe it i was gutted people that met them also you may have seen her she was the tall girl with the KOL hoodie on and hair tied back. All i can say is roll on Manchester 2009!! Ive got some photos, but my camera wasnt great so some are a bit grainy but ill try and post them

Which one were you again? All of you guys were so nice last night. Awh it might have been freezing but it was worth the wait in the end! They were all really nice! I can't beleive we sang Johnny Cash songs to Caleb! Schuncs took lots and lots of pictures that she will put up later. I think she is in the air on her return as we speak. Unlike me she got a flight at a sensible hour! I relation to the piss incident - the guy was wandering around with his penis hanging out just peeing on people! Arsehole! Instead of just washing those clother I think I am going to throw them out,

Maaan, it was amazing to be honest, I couldn't care less that they didn't play Trani and Arizona, the whole show was amazing, yeah I would have liked to see them but still. I thought the guys were in a really good mood, I got the barrier right in front of Matt meaning I could see all four of them which was brilliant. I thought Caleb spoke a lot! The whole thing where he said "I'm gonna tell you a little story now" and told us the thing about the fight and Use Somebody. And I'm pretty sure he said "if it wasn't for this place, that song probably wouldn't have been written". Sex on Fire was also ridiculously loud, and the crowd were amazing throughout. Also, to the people beside us, we meant to stay and say thanks to you, there were three girls who kept making sure we were okay, and offering us their water and stuff, so thanks a lot Also, yay! I got to meet them after the show.It was bloody freezing and wet but when they finally came out it was totally worth it.When Nathan was signing my sisters' Scotland flag, he went "I love Braveheart". Matthew was so sweet too, and he got a bit confused while signing my ticket, cause the green pen didn't work, and it got a bit smudged. but it's all good, cause he signed it again. Also, when Jared came out everyone was shouting "Jared" and he started doing impressions of us, with a pretty bad Scottish accent on which was cute. Caleb was lovely and he dropped the lid of the pen, and bent down to pick it up while making a groaning noise.he was just asking how we were, and someone said freezing and Caleb went "Whaat, it's a tropical heatwave out here" and then started singing tropical heatwave, tropical heatwave. which was weird. Jared said they had an amazing show and the crowd was incredible. Also, when Johanna was getting on the bus my sister shouted on her and waved, so Johanna waved back and said "Oh, my first fan" or something.Lily was really sweet too and smiled and waved when we shouted. Apologies for the long post but it was an amazing night EDIT: I also met timgrw, schnucams and montana which was cool My sister took some pictures, so she's gonna get them uploaded later

Just in the skull t shirt though I still can't believe how packed the SECC was. I also enjoyed looking at the people who had no clue about Joe's Head but knew SOF like the back of their hand

Keep on posting! I am still on a high from last night! I didn't realise Lilly was there. Caleb was great, full of chat. In fact they were all sweet as but Jared is a random one in a silly but good way of course! Yea that was funny when he did the Scottish accent thing and I was like hey, what about your impression of the Irish accent. I am so glad I decided to go now

karma for that story colette. It's so nice to hear everyone here having such a good time. I must have missed out on Glasgow!!! I'm revving up for my gig in Feb (long wait...).
Btw, does anyone know where the guys are usually staying between gigs? My guess is they stay in the really posh hotels when they have to be in one city for one or two days, having to do promotional work when they're having off days between gigs. But maybe they fly home or have a vacation when they have like five days off?
Feel free to direct me to another thread, but I haven't been able to find one dedicated to this sort of topic.

It looks like they are staying on their bus most of the time. Obviously if they have a few days off I presume they'd stay in hotels but the buses they were using last night were well plush and kitted out.

Karma Colette for your story! I'm so upset that I wasn't able to go, I was in the pub last night around 9:30 and they started playing "I want you" and I thought about how they were probably on stage right then..ahhh!

Thanks for that, hadn't thought of the buses (as in plural?). Ah, the thought of sharing one bus with them.

Oh god oh god I still can't believe you met them! Awh it's such a pity you had to leave I thought about it myself when my fingers and toes went numb but decided against it! It was well worth the wait and the frost bite! If I get ill from it I will be sending the Followills the medical bill!
