Ah how rude! At lease you got to chat with them though.  I've found tickets and flights for the gig in Barcelona, just need a hotel and I'll be set. It's only a 2500 capacity! I'll get my stalkers head on for that and track them down there! Don't you be putting ideas in my head! What date is that gig? Schucs, Montana - fancy a trip to Spain?  |

Valentines Day! Not too far away actually. Check out Ryanair flights, I've found ones for £35 return but need to stay for 3 nights to avoid the huge fares of flying out on valentines day and back the next day. I'm tempted to do a tour of barcelona golf courses during the day! Ha!

The details are above! Jesus I would be half tempted. If there were enough of us going I know an apartment in the city that's really cheap to rent but nice! Hmmmmmmmm!
tardybartender it was my second/third time. Met them last year by accident, like I just ran in to them. Woke up in an airport and they were sitting close by - nearly died! In July I met Nathan at Oxegen. I can't decide which was the better meeting Sunday or the airport one.
Do you know if there are Barcelona tickets left?

Theres some on ebay that are about £50 each but i've been on ticktackticket.com and it looks like you can still get them. They're 37 Euros but they charge 40 for them to be delivered outisde of Spain! I know you can pick them up there but I think id be too nervous travelling all the way there without having the ticket in my hand!

I've just realised I only get back from New York after the MSG gig on Feb 2nd, I could hardly go swanning off to see them again twelve days later. My friends would check me in to an asylum!

Haha I forgot about that! I meant in general though! It's not like anyone was like "Oh my god I love you guys, I'll have your babies!" and then tried to jump on them! I'm sure you would have done that though, if you could! This would have been a possibility if I had the ability to speak/move Ah no, I'd never do that...............................................or would I?  ?!!! I wasnt keen on M83 like Montana said they werent appropriate for KOL opening act and they had little or no crowd interaction, I think they could have made more of an effort, but maybe they did and I missed it!! Im not into them anyway!! Yeah they came out and just played without speaking to the crowd at all. They could've sparked some response from the crowd from the beginning by speaking a wee bit. But coming on and sounding as out of touch as they did wasn't what was required Like i said i haven't seen KOL with good support yet and i dunno why i get the feeling that this will never be the case with them lol. Makes KOL seem even better than they do already by the time they come on  I would've KOL would be the sort of act that lots of promising new bands would want to be seen with |

Hey! I'm brand new on here, have been reading it for months but hadnt posted anything. I met a few of you (montana, schnucams and timgrw i think)waiting for the Followills after the gig. I'm the one who's sister dragged me (literally!) away when she could no longer feel her feet. Needless to say she felt a bit bad after seeing the posts on here on Monday! I forgive her though. It was an amazing gig, meeting them just would have been the icing on the cake. In the process of trying to get to Barcelona in February to see them. This time I will meet them!! Catherine Hi!!! Felt so bad for you that night, wished you could've stayed and hung out with us but i know if i had my sis or many of my other friends were with me they would have dragged my ass away too after that long in the cold and rain They just don't get it do they  Sounds like you'll definately be in with a chance of meeting them in Barcelona, and as snuchs said hopefully without a horrible fence between ya God i would love to see them at a gig that small but like timgrw i'll only be back from MSG and my family would also have me committed if i told them i was off again Glad you joined the forum chick have some karma and sorry for delay in reply, was out for my staff party..woohoo |

just got done reading this whole thread! took me three days between work breaks and such! i wanted to read every little word because the descriptions and stories made me feel like i was there. can't wait till we all go to MSG together!!!!!!!!!!! I kinda got the impression that they were just moving onto the city (Liverpool?). O'Couture had an "official" afterparty for MGMT, but it wasn't actually. I think everwhere says it's the official one. |
