Thanking You Crawl My Party Razz Molly's Chambers King of the Rodeo Joe's Head Fans Revelry Milk Four Kicks Pistol of Fire Wasted Time Sex on Fire The Bucket Notion Use Somebody On Call Closer Cold Desert Slow Night, So Long Encore: Knocked Up Manhattan Charmer Black Thumbnail GREAT SET LIST Some of my vids on youtube were the highest viewed on youtube today Also some cheeky bitch added my video to her blog and called it a dodgy mobile video, well i'm sorry that i never kept a steady hand while rocking out to a fantastic gig lol. Plus my camera is 10 mega pixel and if she thinks a mobile can catch as good as sound as my camera did then i'd like proof.....sorry....rant over darkblondes.blogspot.com/2008/12/kings-of-leon-sex-on-fire-glasgow-secc.htmlThis same person also posted a video of the support band and commented on how great they were.... which brings me to my next point... Did anyone else think the support were awful? Like they were one of the worst i've seen. Poncy French Instrumental Arty 80s pish lol. They all seemed to have their heads firmly rammed up their arses lol and were so boring. The drummer had his moments but in all in all they were awful... i did have a feeling KOL would have poor support band, they always do in Britain lol Now KOL with We Are Scientists that wouldve been good to see

I thought M83 were alright. Maybe not appropriate for a KOL concert. They deserve some respect though. Some people behind me were shouting all kinds of stuff at them, and it made me really embarrassed. Fair enough they don't like them, but M83 deserve some respect for getting up there and playing.

AHA!! Thats the one!! thanks, have ur very 1st karma And it is on my freakin ipod, duh And I still cannot believe how comfortable everyone was with them and vice versa, they are just lovely, down to earth guys Ahhhh, u must have missed my complete melt down when I met Matt then!!!!!! Here's hoping he thought it was endearing Excellent pics melbourneflower!!!! Thank you!! Haha I forgot about that! I meant in general though! It's not like anyone was like "Oh my god I love you guys, I'll have your babies!" and then tried to jump on them! I'm sure you would have done that though, if you could!

^^it did cross my mind I felt really bad for M83 as noone was clapping for them, and in a big stadium its fairly obvious when you're getting no love. I blame KOL for that though, i dont know what they picked them for! As far as i could see they bore no relationship musicallly to the boys Far to mellow to be opening up a tour

We only caught a bit of M83 and I wasn't overly impressed but I like the song they closed with.

I'm sure you would have done that though, if you could! This would have been a possibility if I had the ability to speak/move Ah no, I'd never do that...............................................or would I? ?!!! I wasnt keen on M83 like Montana said they werent appropriate for KOL opening act and they had little or no crowd interaction, I think they could have made more of an effort, but maybe they did and I missed it!! Im not into them anyway!!

Karma those photos are great, better than my shitty ones, god i hate my camera phone! boo And i totally agree with whats been said about the support act, they werent great for KOL, possibly some band like the foals or bloc party but not for KOL, but i think its to do with Jared he's a big fan but personally i thought they were a 3rd rate MGMT, now they would have been a great supports act!

Yeah I knew before the show that they were kinda like MGMT, but not as good. I only found out recently that MGMT supported the Kings before! At a show in Paris! Now they would have been brilliant to get the night going.

I know that would have been amazing, i love MGMT at least the crowd would have been familiar with the songs. I thought it would have been good if they were able to bring Glasvegas back to support them at Glasgow with it being a scottish crowd but it wasnt to be

Yeah definetly. I read somewhere that Jared really likes Glasvegas as well, but he can't understand a word the lead singer (I wanna say James?) is saying lol.

Hey! I'm brand new on here, have been reading it for months but hadnt posted anything. I met a few of you (montana, schnucams and timgrw i think)waiting for the Followills after the gig. I'm the one who's sister dragged me (literally!) away when she could no longer feel her feet. Needless to say she felt a bit bad after seeing the posts on here on Monday! I forgive her though. It was an amazing gig, meeting them just would have been the icing on the cake. In the process of trying to get to Barcelona in February to see them. This time I will meet them!!

Meeting them was the icing on the cake and the fact that all of them seemed in good form and talkative made it even better! Me, Schnuchs and Montana later tried to hitch a lift from the bus when they were driving past us but they were having none of it!!!

Ah how rude! At lease you got to chat with them though. I've found tickets and flights for the gig in Barcelona, just need a hotel and I'll be set. It's only a 2500 capacity! I'll get my stalkers head on for that and track them down there!
