i love revelry so iv resigned myself to hating it cause of radio overplay. oh well good bye revelry. i really cant see how the video is gonna work but hey ho we shall see.

It does seem like a bit of an odd choice after 'Use Somebody' but ah well. Not my decision to make. I would have gone with Crawl or something a bit rockier.  P.S. Not that I don't like 'Revelry' |

I am so ecstatic they've released Revelry. I want every chav to hear it and their little brains to fry. Revelry is a revolutionary, the chick rules! - yes revelry is a girl, all songs have been sexed. Oui Oui I agree with "But it will be nice to own a vinyl/cd of Revelry (plus a new, original b-side PLEASE) and it'll be interesting to see a video for it." <---- that! Im not too fussed as long as its not I Want You or Manhatten  If they're released and get over played and I end up hating them cos all the chavs at school sing them, i will kill somebody. SO NOOOOOO But about Revelry, mehh, its already been playing in the common at school so many times and people dont seem to notice it, so atleast it wont become a stupid wannabe anthem like Sex on fire. |

I think that they are making it 2 slower downbeatish lovey type songs out of 3 singles cos they said this album was more about the beautiful melodies etc and they're showcasing that particularly through the singles.

I'm really curious if there will be a video for this or will it be a "fans" effort, just a release with no promo vid. American album sales are still relatively poor (OBTN got best selling album of the year in Australia and has climbed back to the top of the uk charts again.)
I don't feel too precious about this song (Revelry) so that's a good thing. I get sick of songs that are overplayed, I hate it that it happens but it happens to me, no matter how much I love a band. It would be like a beautiful painting on a wall, always there, never taken down, after a while people forget its there and take its beauty for granted.

Yeahh I think Closer is the best song on the album aswell, I've grown bored of pretty much all the others but I'm glad Closer isn't the next single because all the chavs would probably just overplay and ruin it as well. Although KOL could have a really interesting music video for Closer. |
