I have three favourite songs on OBTN, all pretty much equal...Manhattan, Revelry and Cold Desert.
I'll be honest, I was hoping none of these got released as it usually results in over playing and devaluing of a song.
But it will be nice to own a vinyl/cd of Revelry (plus a new, original b-side PLEASE) and it'll be interesting to see a video for it.

Hmmm Revelry seemed to obvious somehow ... i'm actually gutted because it is definatley going to be over played. That's it i'm not listening to it on the radio haha.

I don't reckon the chavs will love it! At least I hope not anyways! It is a really beautiful song, not one of my favourites (I go through phases though, but I am so in love with the last bit of the song), so I hope it gets a really nice video to match I was kinda hoping on Crawl just cos when the chavs hear it they'll get blasted across the room by the drums and the general amazingness of it all  |

I love Revelry, but i really thought it was gonna be Manhattan or Notion but its a very radio friendly song so yeah its probably gonna be played to death! Im just hoping we dont get a crappy boy band video like Use Somebody! |

revelry was played on a radio station in melborune and i was seriously having a panic attack/heart failure LOL my mums like "are you OKAY what the hells wrong with you". then she heard the song and shes like OHHHHH thats why. i absolutely LOVE revelry.

Oh God. I can already hear all those screechy chavs singing Revelreeeeeeee.
I love that song so much. I really don't want it over played and ruined. Why are we feeling like this? We should be happy that they are releasing a beautiful song to be played on the radio.

Ah, well, I'm just glad it wasn't Manhattan, 'coz I couldn't stand that being the new ringtone of every chav and hoodie up and down the country. Too special a song to be abused in that way.
But, still...Revelry...Don't get me wrong, I love it, when I first heard the album it was my 2nd fave, I'm just concerned about them releasing another ballad so soon after Use Somebody.
Wonder what kind of video we'll get and if Sophie Muller will direct it??

Chavs are common people who tuck their burberry tracksuits into their trainers, scrape their hair back really tight and wear huge hoop earrings. They usually play bad music on their phones on the bus for everyone to hear. Don't worry about having that ring tone. I have Slow Night So Long and I'll never change that.  |

ohhh ok fair enough. the only bit u can hear of my ringtone is the start, "what a night for a dance, you know im a dancing machine", then the people calling usually hang up or i put it on silent LOL. i get a few stares with that ringtone though, a bit creepy...

Seriously? That's just...hmm. Who decided on that? Seriously, Revelry? Out of all the songs...that one? Ugh...the video had better make up for the boringness that is Revelry. They better have a 4th single then.  It should have been Sex on Fire, Crawl, THEN Use Somebody. After that, they could have gotten creative and then released any of the others. I would have done Notion or I Want You as the 4th single. But Revelry? |
