Eh I see what the OP means. It doesn't sound like Sex on Fire but I can see why someone may see a small resemblance with the opening guitar riff.

the comments on there are like.."classic tune"..."perfect song"
Its crap for starters, and then someones written.. are maximo park gonna sue kings of leon for stealing their opening riff? I mean there is barely any similarity really. And there are loads of songs where certain parts sound similar! there are so many songs in the world.. its impossible not to come accross something similar when writing new music.
And kings of leon are good enough without having to steal riffs from bands like maximo park for gods sake.

I cant really hear it myself but i agree that the opening riff bears a small similarity with sex on fire, but this is alot slower.

I can hear similar notes at the intro, so there is a small resemblance. Thats it.
Maximo Park could try to sue if they wanted, as was suggested on the video comments, but they'd get laughed out of court.

Yeah there definitely is the odd note that's the same but that's it really, not similar elsewhere.
Not a massive fan of Maximo Park to be honest.

it's a tiny bit the same but barely at all, anyway it's so basic that anybody could have it

whaaat? naaaw, it doesn't sound like SOF...beside the fact that this song is much older than SOF, cause it was the song that made me secret fan of maximo park. love this song. and by the way it's a good song and i used to know the tabs so i can guarantee that there are NO similar notes
