'Festival ticket scammers' arrested Excellent. The governments are finally taking a little bit of notice. Live music is big business for them, it brings in a lot of revenue - they can't afford to let it get overrun by organised touting companies and furious fans. |

I could of seen them at the 02 in Dec but one minute me and some friends were in, then the plan went to pot!
Then the decent tickets were gone I fumed (and cried a little) for days but that was a few months ago now...(sob!)

They may do what they've done with the Dec dates and keep a block behind for late release...I'd given up hopes of getting a ticket for tonight, all the ebay ones were riDICulous prices...I mean, I have kids to feed! But I managed to get a really good ticket on Friday night for the Nottm show tonight...keep the faith! And, if they want to react to the demand there's been for the ones they've already announced, they'll HAVE to add more dates.... Keeping everything crossed for those who haven't managed to get there this time round xxxxxxxx |

Unless I don't celebrate christmas I would get a ticket then,but I don't think my family would understand  Congrats on getting ticket thou..  Also I've looked online at ticket prices and it's crazy I wouldn't mind seeing them at a festival so I'll be looking out for that in 09!! (It's also a matter of who I go with as well!) |

All it takes is a fan club presale. Pretty standard stuff. I think the band will get it next go around. Do they do this in the UK? As long as you have a password system it still won't work. The password to any presale always gets all over the internet. The only way it would work is, as coolcamarogirl said, if they used a system like Pearl Jam's, where people in the fanclub get tickets on their website and, if they get them, they get priority seating based on how long they've been a member. Really long-time members get the best seats, new members get the worst. And you only find out what seats you have when you pick up your tickets at the venue the day of the show. I'm with ya on that. When I bought mine as soon as they went on sale, it allowed you to buy up to 50 tickets. Thats my biggest problem with it. Allow only 8 per credit card or something, if only as a deterrent. Now all the scalpers get double their money. |

ummm..well try having tickets and finding out ya cant go due to bad weather aka flood water! *gggrrrr* not sure whats worse having tix knowing u cant go or not having tix knowing u can go! oh its allllllll... so shitty!  |

the flood was at the beginning of this year i had tix ta go see them at the pavillion theatre in sydney...i was all set and everything but they closed the roads off like the highway between where im at and sydney and i couldnt drive thru it for the love of money so i was a wreck it was really devastating lol..but its ok im an optimistic person i'll see em one day!  |
