I know it would be really cruel to start these rumors and then have them be false... ...BUT I was doing some snooping over on the Coachella forum and some people think that the Strokes are gonna headline one of the nights and the Kings will sub-headline right before them... The Kings then the Strokes....at Coachella??!!! I would give my right boob (I'm gonna be boob-less thanks to KOL) to see this!! it's hard to tell....the kings are still NOT THAT BIG in America.
The Strokes have that "comeback" factor.
I wouldn't mind seeing the Kings right before the Strokes...it would be an honor!

yea they've been on hiatus for a couple years but they're back in the studio in Feb
with material by april...
I guess it's just a matter of perspective right?

Strokes as headliners? KOL as sub headliners? i do not think so, if this was true Coachella would sort of loose a lot of rep. i mean i dont know much about festivals but i know enough to say that they are definitely not big enough to headline and sub-headline coachella.
That KOL will be there, i think so and maybe get a bump from two years ago but not enough to sub-headline

How hard is it to get into Coachella? I'm kind of new to the big 'festival' type shows one thing is for sure, Coachella loves reunions. so if a band just got back together chances are they'll headline, lol |

Would be awesome but its being heavily rumoured that THE SMITHS will be reforming and headlining Coachella.
The Strokes won't have enough ready by then unless they REALLY hit it off again. Would be nice if they did though!

my prediction: Guns N Roses will headline at some point even though their new album Chinese Democracy isn't doing so well and also the fact that Axl Rose is not known to be the most reliable man. I hope I'm right cos I've got a bet riding on this :-P
my hope: KOL! even if they're not sub-headlining I'd still go see them at Coachella

Apparently KOL are playing at Coachella this year... I dunno where the quote came from, it was just posted on another forum so it might not be true, but I thought I might as well post it over here. If that is actually true then I REALLY wish I could go.  Sorry if anything like this has already been posted anywhere else. |

I swear I saw the dates clash with the Jazz festival they're playing, I might be wrong though. Or maybe they'll do both? I've heard they're doing Lollapalooza too.
