I looked on a Fan Reading/Leeds Festival website...and the rumours seem pretty authentic...I think the owner, Neil, has links with the festival somehow According to him.. Kings of Leon and Arctic Monkeys are almost 100% gonna play the mainstage (on separate days of course) Also, pretty much definite that Florence and the Machine and The Rakes are playing... Also, Radiohead, Kaiser Cheifs, Friendly Fires, Glasvegas, White Lies, 36 Crazyfists, Bowling for Soup, Enter Shikari, and Rise Against are pretty likely as well... Here's the link guys, don't take me up on it lol www.efestivals.co.uk/festivals/reading/2009/lineup.shtml

So no Green Day. I have nothing of importance to contribute here.

So no Green Day. I have nothing of importance to contribute here. I was reading the Reading rumours websites and people are torn between Radiohead and Green Day for the Sunday, alot of people think/want Green Day but think Radiohead are more likely? I'd prefer Green Day!

I think KOL are gonna play. Someone told me randomly on myspace last year they would based on repeat band's playing. They didn't play last year and they're huge now. I reckon it could happen. I'm gonna end up at HMV at 6 in the morning to get my ticket

I'm thinking that, if nothing much else is going on, I might just go for the day KOL are on. Plus if I was doing that it would be easier for me to go to Leeds....although I'm tempted to buy day tickets to both Reading and Leeds. That is a bit bad though....Reading is a trek.

Green Day won't play, they're doing an arena tour instead of festivals, apparently.

I considered that but Leeds is a trek and I think it'd be a bit too much too close together Plus I really want a Reading wristband haha

Mines the other way round, Reading is miles and Leeds is closer, but for the weekend I prefer Reading? My wristband from last year was such a disappointment....vile vile colour! The day wristbands were alot alot nicer!

Oh do you get day wristbands? Hmmm! Now you've tempted me! I've never camped at a festival and I really want to this summer cos otherwise I'd just spend all day at main stage waiting for KOL

Last year at Reading they had day wristbands, they were blue on the Saturday, I think...there was definately blue ones and it certainly wasn't mine. Now I am confused...Leeds day ticket or Reading weekend ticket???

I don't think I can afford to travel to both, Reading is only like 45 minutes on train from me so I might aswell just do weekend. I wish KOL would do the Sunday night I'd walk away absolutely mindblown!

That's what disappointed me, I mean if they are def doing it I'm really chuffed but they are rumoured to be doing the Friday night, which would kinda mean the rest of the weekend wouldn't be as good? Like I wouldn't have anything to look forward to if that makes sense?
