hmm no setlist in the brisvegas thread... maybe theyve posted in on the previous pages here. aww ragoo! you poor thing haha. well my all time favourites true love way, revelrys just my favourite from this album... so they didnt sing that either haha. i think revelry was expected to be played though, because its one of their singles. thats why i wouldve been upset if they didnt play it. fair enough if they hadnt released it, but they did. so they gotta sing it

Last night at Newcastle wasn't so great. The boys were fantastic (as usual) but the crowd were just dead. I mean that almost literally. I sat next to a guy who must've been well into his 60's and wore a suit. At the beginning I was tempted to ask him if he was aware it was a Kings of Leon concert. Later I was tempted to check for a pulse. I don't think he moved for the entire concert. The band had a few sound issues and the audience clearly didn't know any other song besides SOF. It was quite sad to watch actually. There were a few pockets of people that seemed to be up and dancing but mostly people were seated (unil SOF) and I saw people talking and leaving through the main concert. I'd seen others talk about such things happening but I was on the floor in Sydney and had a blast. Everyone there knew the songs and got right into the show but last night it was pathetic. It was such a lifeless audience and you could tell the band were feeling it too. There was no Manhattan for the finale but we did get a 5 min (actually more) jam of the new song (which I recorded.) People were actually leaving during that too. All in all I feel it was a sad end to their Astralian tour. I hope they realise we love them and come back again.

Aww that sucks for you! Crowds are so dependant on where you are as to how into it they seem... They need a good old Kiwi crowd!! Can you upload the new song somewhere?? Pretty please? And I'm sure they'll be back, im not sure if anyone else has noticed ( ) but they are starting to become quite popular... [gasp, im bringing you all new info, i know] I'm still SO excited for Friday!!

I'm uploading the video to youtube as we speak but I think it's going to take a while. I'll let you all know when it's done. I think you're right. It depends on where you are. On the 18th I was on the floor and it was like an amazing dance party. Everyone knew the songs, sang along and really got into it (Plus I met some girls at the stage door who were quite funny and sweet and some other girls who were singing some of the most random selection of songs I've heard in a long time. Beatles, John Fanham, Coldplay) . Last night we were up in the stands and NO ONE got up to dance (unless it was SOF) and people were talking throughout the set as they didn't know any of the earlier material. I'm sure you'll have a ball at your concert and they'll LOVE the kiwi crowds.

WHAT is the point in spending nearly $100 to see SOF played? jesus these crappy crowds piss me off! in an interview jared was like 'the 1st show had one of the best crowds just because everyone knew all the songs and sung to them' (which was perth... but thats irrelevent) and then they were like 'thats how we play a good show- we feed of the audience' so if you don't know at least 7 songs. don't come to the concert. blargh

He he he . . yes that's it! Sorry, I was on the phone whilst it was uploading and didn't get a chance to post the link.
it's awesome, I'm sorry it isn't the best quality though and the people in front got up and left mid way through but you can hear it and it was AMAZING!
