Aww so no ones from little old Adelaide?
Hopefully they start off with a bang here since its the first show of the tour.
But the Adelaide crowds are fucking shit. No one does anything. They just sit there. Hopefully they dont think were retarded..

im either going to melbourne and sydney or sydney and newcastle i'll see which is cheaper Well I hear the venue they're playing in Newcastle is more akin to the Hordern Pavillion in Sydney (which they aren't playing). Its all standing. I'd say tickets will be cheaper at newcastle and I've heard Rod Laver is pretty heartless - hard to feel involved etc. So those are my tips as far as where you should go. I'm thinking about going to newcastle as well - much easier to get to than melbourne for me.

why the fuck are pre-sales on at 1pm?? what ever happened to good old 9am? my exam finishes at 2pm thats fucked up bro. (edit) - ticket limit of 4 per person... thank jesus! Thank god because you have to buy lots of tickets? Because I see that as being a bit of a disadvantage personally... That said I'm also probably going to be buying mine in a group so I can't complain.

Vfest anyone? Not a single one of those shows is on a Saturday. Maybe they'll make a festival appearance yet... I take this back. Apparently Brisbane's Vfest is on Sunday the 29th so that's impossible. Oh well... Still very excited that they're touring but Vfest is just such an awesome festival that I would have been stoked if they'd made the lineup as well.

(20/11) AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Auckland, Wellington, AND Christchurch?! Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit. How am I going to find the money for this??? Hmm. Also since I'd be at uni in Dunedin in March I'd probably end up going to the Christchurch one...probably alone since none of my friends are into them. WHY OH WHY MUST MY FRIENDS SUCK?! I just remembered I have birthday money! I could use that for a ticket! HELL YEAH!

Weird spot to hold a concert, i guess though it will able to fit a heck load more people in than what it would at the entertainment centre.

Haha. I managed to convince my sister to come to the concert with me so I won't seem like such a loser going alone. I told her she has from now 'til March to learn to love them.

I'm so glad they're playing at Memorial Drive and not Entertainment Centre (I loathe Ent Cent). I saw Jack Johnson there earlier this year and it was an awesome gig and the atmosphere was just so much better than anything at Ent Cent. Don't know exactly what will happen with seating, since they just have the two seated stands, but that doesn't really matter for me since I'll be down (hopefully at the front) of GA anyway. I can't remember how many people it holds though. Still wish we could have gotten a little club gig though.

I saw pearl jam at Memorial on their first tour here, twas pretty awesome and it was around the same time of year so it should be sweet. When the jam played (back when they had pits) The whole floor was standing, they had a fence bout 30-40ft from the stage barricade's, then the rest of the standing area behind it and the stands open seating. Im guessing it will be a similar set up, hence no under 16's in the standing area. As for numbers, 16,000 comes to mind but its been a while so could be right off the mark. U2 and the like have played there in the past before the EC was built
