awhhh it was amazing! amazing! amazing!! i hadn't been that close to watch them play in years it was such a delight to watch them play again, especially nice size venue too awwwww it was soooo cool!!  they played pretty much the same set as at paris i believe. caleb said something sweet about thanking those who had seen them before in amsterdam and for returning to watch them once more. 5kicks / Horja, took me past the last venue they played there and it was tinyyyyy oh my word!! and that was in 05 i think, so they had all of the first two albums to play there in that tiny venue WOWOWOW!! Much thanks to you girl for firstly giving me your spare ticket and for making the whole weekend so much fun!! we wrote kol on cheeks lol we tried our best to educate the dutch in kol, which was fun for me being english an all, oh you don't know who they are OH MY GOD!! hehee quite shocking really thanks everyone for the pics and stories, i havn't read this thread yet but thanks in advance x xx oh and i hung around half heartedly after the gig to meet them but they didn't come out and due to my half heartedness i missed not only nacho but matt. awhhhh welll. it wasn't a big deal, i'm just so chuffed i got to see them play that set, so up close and everything it was awesome!! |

Those are excellent photos bonnieblues.  You must have been close to the stage. I'm just wondering but did anyone have any problems getting their cameras into the show? Were you checked by security at the doors or anything? |

I loved it when Caleb said the first time we played here I had a funny beard, long hair and I was wearing women's clothing ! it was just soo cute how he said it ! awh i know and he pointed at his face too awwww lol thank you for the photos bonnieblues, i wish i was there again, it was so cool. i know now where i'm seeing all my future kol gigs ... in europe! the venues are ridiculously huge here in the UK  i didn't get my bag checked i think ...  bonnie blues what british did you meet? ohhh i hope it wasn't me lol the setlist was awesome it was just the best to see it, 4 albums worth of material in that place. jeesss it was all a bit special  where abouts was everyone stood? cause me and horja were on the barrier and we still had room to move, which was actually quite nice, cause i do like a boogie and not so keen on a squish. ohh does anyone remember the song the crowd went mental too for the first time? i just remember thinking, to this? really? good song but to go mental to? really?! h i gta go b4 i ramble x |

hiya schnucs, no sadly not if only i was rich, paris was all my wallet would run to. But i said it would be the best gig of 2009 and they will have to go some to beat it awesome,great venue would go back again to see the kings there ,i always gig with my son but now my gals are old enough, there pulling on my heart strings dad take us. it gets more expensive every gig but worth it. Good to meet ya in paris |

Also they broadcasted some songs from the concert. I'm not finished with it yet but I already did hear Sex on Fire (of course) and revelry (of course²) The part with Kings starts after about 30 minutes. I really hope you can listen to it. Edit: There will be two more parts of the interview and 3 songs he just said, but I'm not there yet. I'll post when in the show it was when I'm there
