You should definitely try it–It's seriously one of the most therapeutic things ever. But don't paint on bedsheets. I started all these paintings last year (including the Jack and Meg one) on bedsheets, 'cause I was like "Hey, I can take it anywhere with me AND it's cheaper than canvas!" but the thing is, the fabric just sucks the paint right up, so it takes longer to paint, and consequently, I now have 3 paintings from last summer that I still need to finish, including these 2 absolutely massive ones of KOL that some friends were paying me to make. Did you ever figure out what you're going to do about school vs. working? You're so talented....you could definitely get a good job doing something artistic.

Well, right now I've got a job at Target, but I think next semester I'm going to give beauty school a whirl. I've always loved playing around with hair and makeup, and I wouldn't mind styling hair to fund any creative interests. I don't want to commit myself to college yet, 'cause right now all sorts of stuff is going on right now–The band that my sister and me have has been getting booked to play lots of shows lately, and we're meeting with a producer this week, which is pretty exciting, and my boyfriend and me are thinking of starting our own little vintage buisness, selling cool clothes, as well as jewelry and headpieces I've made. I'm that into the whole Target thing, but I really like where I'm at right now.

I love taking photos. Rain is always one of my favourite subjects to photograph.

A bit of Egyptian art I did. I loves it! Wow, those are fantastic! I especially love the first one–The shading on the face and the way the light's hitting it is perfect!

I made a fake t-shirt website for school... it's kinda poopy but check it out if you like: www.nmcstudents.com/mm04/Assignment_1/All the coding and stuff really confused me, but it works. Thank God. Haha. I hope I get a decent mark.

Sorry for bringing back this thread but just scouring through the boards I think it definately needs another airing! Best thing about a stressful day is going home and painting, and yep been there with the bedsheets and its sooo true not to paint on anything you find- especially bedsheets or in my case curtain lining!! Im loving everyones paintings, really nice
