I've been waiting 5 long years for this to happen. My favorite band is FINALLY on American Radio. I heard it on a rock station that only plays Billboard tracks. So they're finally getting some traction here I checked Wikipedia and it said Sex on Fire was #5 on the US Modern Rock Tracks. Let's hope it'll go up to #1

I've long since given up on radio.

So far I've only heard 'Sex on Fire' which gets lots of airplay on two major stations here in LA. One station has 'Crawl' listed as one of the KOL songs to request, but have yet to hear that on the radio. Motorists and pedestrians beware 'cause there's no telling what I might do if and when I hear 'Crawl' on the radio ;-)

I actually heard "the bucket" on Q101 the other day...NOW they play it, after I had been requesting it during the last letter game for over a year!! but yeah, radio is shite these days...its almost impossible to listen to, which is a shame

This is probably sad, but I hate the fact that they are being played on the radio!

I wouldn't know. I haven't heard them on the radio. I don't see their CDs in stores. I don't see their videos on TV. To me, nothing has changed.

only one station in san diego plays "sex on fire" and it's only like once a week...
LA is a slightly different story....
and i think when "use somebody" comes out, we'll be hearing them more on american radio which i don't mind, i'm not upset.

So I should start turning the radio on again? Cuz I can tell you now, if I hear those guys on the radio, I might start crying seriously. It would mean more to me probably than to them.

Here in SF I am emailing people at the station and calling in regularly to have them play it. Its at 13 most played song on the station as of last week. This week, it will prob be higher.
Oh, and on a side note: As a long time American listener I often wondered why the US was so lacking and had yet to pick the Kings up. This society is saturated with sex and it took a direct sex reference to get the audiences listening, but Kings have long played songs about sex, just not as directly. So, yeah, I need to make this argument more eloquent but its quite ironic that it took this to get them to pay attention when Caleb has written about sex (almost exclusively) since day 1.
