I Want You = This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody)

Call me crazy, but does anyone else think I Want You sounds a LOT like Talking Heads' This Must Be the Place?

I Want You is one of my favourites off the new record (along with Closer & Manhattan). But it sounded so familiar from the first time I heard it, tho I couldn't figure out why. Now I know. Seriously, listen to both songs ... the melody, the cowbell.

Since someone noticed that "I want you" sounds like another song, I would like to add that I think, "I want you" sounds a lot like a song by the same name (I want you) by 3 doors down. I heard it randomly on the radio one day and thought it was KOL (at first) but then to my surprise it was 3 doors down. ugh. Don't kill me I was joining in and this is my first time on here. Take it easy on me please.

whoops I was just looking at this and I was told that it is Third Eye Blind not 3 doors down. Sorry. Hell how should I know whom sings what crap over another when it comes to Third eye blind and 3 doors down. See it just goes to show that KOL is all we should be listing to........right

I dont really here the similarities but i havent heard that talking heads track in ages, might need to give it a listen again, but I really dont rate I want you, its one of their weakest songs! i feel that its just a filler track they would have been better with Frontier City or Beneath the surface on there instead of that.
