ok kangs so you've proved your point, you can do more than just make short, sharp, raw, gritty tunes that its impossible to stand still to but please please please for the next album can we see a bit of a return to the good ol' days. I got into your music cos no one else did what you were doing at the time and I knew I could go see you and rock my bollox off. Your popularity has exploded since the last 2 albums and thats good for your pocket but, and maybe I'm being selfish here, if I'm gonna pay (more) money to come see you I wanna be jumping around like a spastic in a magnet factory not standing swaying with a lighter in the air. Please speed it back up cos the floors in venues over here are sticky and I don't wanna ruin my shoes

Too funny...karma! (I can't stand the 'swaying with lighter in the air' either - makes me nauseous. If that ever happens at a KOL concert...I'll cry )

Actually, no one uses lighters anymore do they? Don't they use cell phones?

^^ Haha yes they do. There is also this cool/cheesy app for the iPhone and iPod touch that looks like a lighter on the screen. I'm totally using it the next time i go to a show LOL

Yeh I could only do with the lighters for 1 song... maybe 2 at the most if they were spaced out in the gig.
I liked BOTT when they experimented with something different to the first 2 albums but I think they should've sticked to something slightly more similar to the first 3... there isn't enough of Matt's guitar in OBTN for me.

What ever happened to the southern swagger? I miss it a lot. I like the music now, but Im listening to Joes Head right now. I sure do miss the attitude.

^^ me too! Actually, no one uses lighters anymore do they? Don't they use cell phones? Heh yay! At Oxegen, Michael Stipe got everyone to take out cells (we call em mobiles here ) it seemed really cheesy but when I saw the footage afterward it looked amazing, I can only imagine what it was like from the stage!!!

Haha notfrank, I was just listening to I Want You cause it has that little guitar riff that feels pretty backwoods and so I threw on Joe's Head and almost laughed at just how amazingly country their first record was. I like the new stuff a lot, but it's nice to go back and reminisce sometimes.
