I have just bought OBTN on CD aswell as on VINYL. I got it from a shop in Edinburgh, via eBay. It was advertised as the alternate artwork. I emailed the shop and asked them about it. I just wanted to know if this was the US/rest of World Issue. They said as far as they know, this was the only sleeve on vinyl. Incidently, its got 'Frontier City' on the LP version, which i dont think you get on the uk cd ver so that was a bonus !! And by the way ... its is bloody quality ! The words are printed in the double gatefold album sleeve on the inside 1st side. They arent just printed, they are imbossed very faintly, but its looks wicked. The Rooster cover is well nice aswell, its glossy and cut out and ontop of the album cardboard, so it sticks out, nice ! Just wanted to know if anyone has got the UK vinyl, ie. the faces/green sleeve? Is this the US version I have? Oh and the records themselves are black vinyl, nice and thick, they feel well weighty !!! Has anyone else bought the vinyl yet? I dont think you can get in in say HMV until monday 30th !

The guy at HMV told me they'd have one coming out, I have no idea what version that is though. He also said "they'll probably bring out the deluxe edition to cash in on it" hmph!

i just found this description of the album while lookin for the vinyl
The fourth album from the Followill brothers finds them re-connecting with their Southern roots. In a similar vein to 2003's 'Youth and Young Manhood', Kings Of Leon reaffirm their country origins while still writing powerful rock numbers that sit comfortably next to some revealing down-tempo numbers. Although this is the Kings Of Leon's heaviest to date, fans won't find it to be a huge departure from the band's already impressive back catalogue.
heaviest so far?
righhhhhhhht
