Ok, I know it feels good to have someone give you a karma for something you did and have them tell you why. You may have done something really cool like posted an interview or you could have done something little like make someone laugh about nothing really. And yea I will admit that it is really annoying when someone Smites and doesn't have the balls to tell you why.

But do these meaningless points mean that much to you guys? Do they effect your social life(EDIT: When you arent on the computer)? What are they doing for you? Well to tell the truth, they aren't doing anything for me. Who cares if someone smites you its not like you are going to die...Come on people, its not a big deal.

I hope I don't sound like a complete jerk..This is only coming from a positive place.

I'm glad you guys are realizing that it isn't a big deal. That's why when people say they are leaving because of it, I truly have to blink and laugh. Really, it's not that serious...

I come from sites where people don't hand karma's out, no one gives a crap and if you do a good job, they just tell you and move on. Karma's are there just to give you a warm fuzzy, nothing else, and if I get smited, I get smited. I've pissed so many people off in the Internet World, that in all honesty, I shouldn't have any karma's, but they don't bother me one way or another.

I hope nobody out there gets genuinely upset about a smite. People if someone does it to you it means they've got green eyed monster syndrome.

I too think it's mean. I know it's not the end of the world, but i notice those that are saying that have hundreds of karmas (and good for you all - you are so nice and helpful and funny) But i only had 16 possibly 17 (i'm not sure) (which i was very proud of) and i don't come on for a few days, then when i do 1 (or possibly 2) of my precious few karma are gone and i don't know why. I did read somewhere on here that someone's doing it for shits and giggles, now that is mean.

And while, like i said, i realise it's no big deal, if people took a while to pluck up the courage to come on here in the first place are a bit shy (even in cyberspace with strangers) then it can annoy if not upset.

It's so annoying having someone dislike you for no discernable(spl) reason. In real life, never mind on here. And if you don't know what you've done, you can't apologise, fight your corner, or convince them otherwise...

Yea but its not my fault I have hundreds of Karma. If people choose to give me Karma thats on them. I have also been smited a bunch of times and yea it does suck but I just get over it. I'm not trying to make people upset for my post but I guess it does in a way.

And I change my mind, if you want to get mad because someone takes your Karma go ahead...If you want to leave because of it be my guest. You have to right to do so and I'm not gonna sit here and tell people how they should feel.
