I agree with most of that, there definitely not many good quality covers on YouTube. I've been playing guitar for 6 years and, to be honest, find pretty much all KOL songs easy. I'd say most of the guitarists would've been playing for around 1 year. I haven't heard a song by Kings of Leon which is in 3/4 btw, I don't know what you're talking about there, haha. But yeah, most of the drummers I've seen are pretty horrible, haha. Like in The Bucket, they play the hi-hat instead of the floor tom, not playing the beat correctly at all in On Call, changing the tempo of the songs... stuff like that. Most of them play really sloppy as well. hey man, i wanna see/hear you play something!  any videos on youtube? heres one of my videos...it's manhattan...i actually mess up a couple of times but i just learned to play that song when i recorded it. i'd say i play it much better now  but i agree with some things you said...there are some horrible covers but also pretty good ones on youtube! but hey, as long as there is nickelback covering 'use somebody' there can't be any worse covers  |
