Wank puns asides, seriously though they are fuck.ing. use.less. I've played guitar and sung for 2 years and played drums for 9, so i've decided I can comment without some clever codpiece saying 'you couldn't do better'. I can and I will.
On the other hand while they may be far and few between I have seen some good covers...actually I haven't so if you find one that is actually good, and not just rated 4 and a half misleading stars by people who wouldn't know a good cover of red morning light from their f&^%$ elbow then post the link in reply!!
Massive mistakes they ALL make:
1. Thinking he's an unimportant part of the band apparently they hire amazingly douchebag drummers who change the beat...or fuck up an existing one. Don't change the beat. Like everything else in K.O.L songs the beats are perfect. Nathan is a genius.
2. Don't fuckin play songs that are in (I think) a 3/4 stomp like Red Morning Light, Spiral Staircase and maybe Genius (I can't remember) into a vibeless 4/4 drivel. They strip the songs of their feel by changing timing n tempo. Muppets.
3. Less is often more. Why so they play so sloppily and loud? FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK. Why not calm the fuck down and play it right??
4. Don't try and sing like caleb. Your not caleb. You don't sound like caleb. You aren't cool like caleb. You probably can't sing at all, and if you can definately not like caleb. Take your voice (if you can sing, otherwise f*%k off and get a new job), and your enunciation, and sing the f&*king song. It will at least be novel compared to hearing these whining nitwits who think they're impression extroadinares, nailing the very essence of our favourite frontman but who actually just sit there with no tone cracking highs for three minutes and thirty seconds.
Sorry I needed to let that out. I should be able to find a decent cover in an hour. Sorry about the language...

yea but 2 things
1. no one is caleb, and have their own voice, but i do know what u mean wen people try to emphasis certain words like he does
and
2. some people change their songs on purpose or interpret them in their own ways
and also
none of those songs are in 3/4 lol

I agree with most of that, there definitely not many good quality covers on YouTube. I've been playing guitar for 6 years and, to be honest, find pretty much all KOL songs easy. I'd say most of the guitarists would've been playing for around 1 year.
I haven't heard a song by Kings of Leon which is in 3/4 btw, I don't know what you're talking about there, haha.
But yeah, most of the drummers I've seen are pretty horrible, haha. Like in The Bucket, they play the hi-hat instead of the floor tom, not playing the beat correctly at all in On Call, changing the tempo of the songs... stuff like that. Most of them play really sloppy as well.

None of the songs you listed are in 3/4. (Rememo is)
I've never seen anyone cover a KoL song and do it well, but at the same time I doubt KoL could cover a song and make it better. (Just to be fair)
