All Kings albums in the top 50. Does that annoy anyone other than me how people are just jumping on the band wagan? You know the people i mean - the ones who listen to shitty bands like the script and jonas brothers.

well i think KOL certainly deserve it, but in your own mind you know how much of a true fan you are, you know when u started liking/loving this band, and that's what truley matters. I remember when they opened for U2 in 05, and it was 8 days between shows in Philly... we didnt know any of the songs or anything the 1st night. The 2nd night we were singing word for word. I've been hooked ever since.

But also it does annoy me that people are blatantly jumping on the bandwagon. It just gets on my nerves when people say 'i love kings of leon!' and its like oh really? Because u like sex on fire, u think that means u like kings of leon? I mean i have so many friends who all of a sudden are saying this, yet i play them something from YAYM and they are like eww this is shit turn it off.
And im like.. yeah thats what i thought. Just cause u like one song here and there, doesnt make u a fan of the band.
Sorry i dunno where that rant came from lol.

And also, I think its silly when people are like "I soo luv Kingz of Leon thay are like soo totally my fav band bbz" when they have only heard Sex On Fire . I think that just frustrates me though because my best mate has recently started singing On Call and Sex On Fire non-stop - she usually listens to Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montanah, yes she is 16 and listens to them! hah. [/endrant] That said, I'm glad KOL are getting the recognition they deserve lols. |

I think its great for KOL they deserve the respect from their fellow country men, i'm a bit annoyed on their behalf that it took so long!! I know Caleb said he doesnt want to forget fans on this side of the pond but i think they'll be spending loads more time at home, good for them, but Ill miss them  |

i swear i thought it said number one download last night...maybe it was my positive thinking...
i'm really happy for them. they deserve all the success in the world.
i'm sure they know what this newfound success means. not necessarily "better" or "worse" fans but different kinds of fans.
they're prepared for it though. they've been around for a while and have the mature experience to handle it.

Not everyone who are buying the albums listen to bad music. They could have just seen the newest album on the chart, listened to it, then bought it then, decided to listen to everything else. You can't keep them your little secret forever.  It's pretty cool that Only By The Night is the number one album on iTunes. |
