Problem with Download?

hey guys,
Just downloaded OBTN and i have got some problems.... the crawl video is fuzzy all the way through and when i listen to the album it keeps on stopping and going back to my playlist?

Anyone else had this problem?

nope i havent had this problem..?
Does the CD play ok on like a cd player and then just mess up in your itunes, or is it a different problem?
Cause if its a problem with the CD itself, u need to get an exchange!

No i have only got just the download at the moment and at the end of the buckett my ipod just stops, switches off and then re-starts it self. All the other tracks are fine! LOL

Looks like its just me so will go back to Itunes and ask them!

I've just submitted a report to itunes. I can listen to like the first 5 tracks then it stops almost everytime after Notion, I want you, be somebody and cold desert. It's so annoying. It's odd because the ipod resets itself. If you just stopped the thing and turned it off it'd go back into where you were before hand but not with this, i have thumb strain from cycling back through ABCDEFGHI and J to get there ha ha. I tried taking it off and putting it back on again.. but didn't make a difference.

If you're interested i'll let you know if i get a response.

I downloaded OBTN yesterday on my work MAC, then i transferred it to my home PC and put it on my iPod... and it skips through all the tracks when you try to play it, without actually playing any. It won't play Sex On Fire/Crawl videos either. I also downloaded a few other songs from iTunes and my iPod won't play those either.

Spoke to Apple and the recommended restoring my iPod to factory settings, which i'll do on my PC when i get home.

Very weird. So maybe my ipod just won't play purchased music, for some reason.

other purchased music is okay as far i know on mine. Doesn't restoring factory settings delete all you tracks?

My iPod now plays purchased music, but when i'm playing Only_By_The_Night, my iPod keeps resetting itself after every song, more or less. So annoying.

Anyone else reported this to Apple?

im having a similar problem
i preordered the deluxe version on iTunes.
and
i put it on my ipod, listened to it on the computer
went to school, listened to it there. and after skipping a couple of songs it turns off my iPod

anyone having this problem?!
im desperate.

i found a fix.


burn the album onto a blank disc
then
re upload to iTunes, uncheck the OBTN that you DLed,
put a "-" infront of only by.... in the album name

and
upload to your iPod
and your set

it fixed mine, it should fix yours

i still dont know about the videos though.

So basically you have to use a pirate version of your own CD! And the problems you people are having with your CD, how is this gonna be an incentive to people to buy rather than use illegal sharing torrents?.

Nice one Apple! Great work your doing trying to prevent CD piracy.

i have yet to receive the code to download the deluxe version of the album from itunes.
thank goodness i bought a hard copy of the CD.

same thing here, reset on my for sex on fuire, reverly and the last 2 songs... very annoying. Now my ipod isnt working the same when i hook it up to my car.

Any word from Apple yet?

Not heard back from them yet. I bought the CD too coz it was pissing me off not beig able to listen to it my car...and i wanted the lyrics too...but anyway.....i wish i hadn't bothered getting the itunes one now, i basically paid £9.99 for Frontier City (the Crawl video is on the website now so that's not worth mentioning)...... i'm loathed to put the CD version on my ipod because i will have really wasted my money then. (i'm all for supporting the boys and that) But christ, you are so right about the piracy issue.

Thanks for the 'fix' but i can't be arsed you shouldn't have to do all that to listen to sommat you bought off Apple, loaded onto a computer made by Apple to listen to on an mp3 player made by......Apple. Sheesh....if i didn't hate PCs.... Cheers guys i'll keep checking in and will report anything at my end.

Last time i legally buy music, i'm afraid.

I'd put the 'illegal' copy back on my ipod, but i still want Frontier City (awesome - should've been on OBTN instead of 17, imo) and the videos, so i'll have to faff about with them.
