...well, it is for us Irish, Germans, Belgians, Dutch, Aussies & Kiwis - release date is today!
I got my copy at lunchtime in Dublin, and the girl at the cashdesk said - unprompted - that it had been selling really well all day. I'd say it'll go straight to No. 1.
The artwork is lovely (other than the front cover, which still makes me giggle). I'm lovin' the black-on-black lyric sheet.
Who else other than the Melbourners has it?
Oh, and for other Irish folk, The Kings are on the cover of The Ticket supplement with today's Irish Times - an interview.

Got my copy of the album out of Zavvi in Cork - it was by the front door and they were blasting Closer when I walked in, nice feeling!!
Delighted to have the lyrics now and all - The head while I'm driving!!! Woohooo!!

oh, and if anyone is still wondering why people buy their music on ITunes instead of buying the CD...it's half the price. 9.99 on ITunes, 18.99 in Tower Records. So that's 9 euro for a one-sheet fold out booklet and CD disc...and record companies moan they're being ripped off?? HA HA!

Wahey! A shitty day at work turned out fine, now I received my copy earlier than I had anticipated. My neighors will just have to use their earplugs or learn to appreciate great music... For you who are still waiting: Monday/Tuesday's just a few days away!
