I have just heard the studio version of Manhattan for the first time on Last FM and all I can say is wow, as somebody else has said, its a real open road driving song. I'm resisting listening to the rest of the album until I get it

I liked the song right from the very first listen. My only complaint is that it doesn't have much of an ending.

I realised today Manhattan makes me want to stand on top of a mountain, dance by rocking my hips (Caleb style) and sing my heart out!

First time post but i gotta say i was disappointed with manhattan. its got the makings of a great song but just needs that extra bit of meat on its bones. They should have rocked it out a bit more like in the 'live' version instead of limping to a fade-out finish.

does any1 else think the live version is much better than the studio version? I think it sounds really flat, its way better live.

all of their songs are better live. but i love this song... such a good song. KOL make such good driving music.
Edit: Jared has such a cool bass riff in Manhattan.

The history of Native Americans and their mistreatment in the United States. That's the story that's been "pushed under the carpet.
