Yeah beneath the surface does sound like crawl, it's only really a slightly different rhythm

Hello,
Thanks for that find Heich......WOW, who thought they would have an ACTUAL RARE B-Side for a change to couple with a new single. I DEFINITELY think "Beneath The Surface" is an early demo of "Crawl" with different lyrics, kind of dig this version more than the original album incarnation version. Cheerios!

YOu have got to be kidding. He is practically singing the song to the exact melody of the Crawl verses.

I was trying to work out what I thought i heard in it, and I think it's Pearl Jam for some reason. Sorry if I'm way off, it's just something about it that reminded me of Eddie V 15 years ago...

Mmmmmmmm yah. Not the best b-side in my opinion. Disappointed . Karma for sharing tho!!! And yes. It sounds Exactly like Crawl. Crawl's less rockin' weirdish cousin... The first line "To grant me my purpose," at the beginning is exactly the same sound as "You fault my pride".. Trust me.. listen again.. EXACTLY THE SAME lol.

I never really heard much similarity between that and crawl. Anyway, i thought it was pretty poor and it didn't seem to really have any solid rhythm, I've actually already forgot what it went like, thank god.
