I kinda like it, actually  usually when people cover KoL (i mean, random people on youtube etc) they just try to sound like Caleb and fail, but this really sounds different. |

There's no point in trying to make a cover identical to the original unless maybe it's live. Why would you ever listen to a note for note remake on record when you have the original? I think it's exciting that such obviously talented bands as the Bamboos feel it worthwhile to rearrange a KoL song and release it as a lead single. And I love the arrangement and different instrumentation and especially the vocals. For me now listening to the KoL version is better because I can hear so much more in it after listening to the Bamboos take. And a bitchin' jazz flute solo? What's not to like there? |
