Did any aussies just see that? I don't usually watch VH, but turned the tv on and there it was!!!! How brilliantly awesome!! haha. So I guess this means a lot more popularity now in Aus... don't know if I'm gonna like the new fan base.. but hey any new fans are good ones I guess. Actually have VH ever played any KOL? And I just never seen it?

This is kind of a related topic that weirded me out as well. In the US we have this series of music stations on cable tv called music choice or something. It doesnt play videos, just songs with bits and facts about the band flashing on the screen. And the other day i was cleaning and put on on of the Alt Rock stations.. And low and behold.. CRAWL came on!!! I was shocked. Does anyone else know what Music stations I'm talking about??? I thought I was totally hearing things. But i had the same reaction.. Excited.. yet not.. he he he Sorry to go off you're subject there, but it just reminded me of that LOL.

i just saw it on channel V on foxtel, but i'll accept that i just hope this doesn't mean their will be new "diehard" fans at their shows that think only by the night is their 1st album.

^^^^ so will i and i will slap the all away from the front rails, when we were at the gig in january this really sweaty guy came and pushed right in to stand infront of us and my friend gave him this massive slap across the back of the head it was hillarious. I'm gonna do a few replays if it happens with these "fans" next time

In a way I'm absolutely delighted that KOL are getting the recognition that they deserve (& that the tickets for gigs in Ire & UK went on sale before now) but it also pisses me off a little that every journalist etc is jumping on the KOL Bandwagon now after ignoring them for years!! Maybe I'm being completely irrational, I dunno!!!

^^ yeah i know what you mean, im happy for them but in the same way im not, i still want them to be this cool band that people didnt really know, but thats just me being selfish and deosnt do the guys any good, they need to get bigger and i think they are ready for it!
but i aslo agree about the people jumping on the band wagon and thinking OBTN is their first album, i hate these feckers at shows, the couldnt tell you an old KOL song if it fell and hit them on the arse!

they've just been exposed to all these little teeny boppers that watch all the rap and pop crap on that show.. *shudders* They have to be educated some how. Maybe it's not a bad thing? I've always said since back in 2003 that this is the band to save rock and roll. They've found their stage and now they are educating the masses. Let the good times roll.... let the good tiiiiiimes rolll.....

They use to play that and "King of the Rodeo" all the time, but now, I have directv and there's no more music choice, which I miss.

Oh no not Video Hits.....can you imagine all the Teenies who were exposed to the video and are going to be at the concert now!! There should be a test before you get to buy tickets....you have to be able to sing random songs from each album before you are allowed to buy a tix. That way you weed out the true fans from the band-wagoners!! Mmm the video was 'Ripe clip of the week' on Channel V (looks so good on a 42" screen)...that's acceptable as Channel V have always supported KOL. I wonder if they will do another feature (playing all their vids in a row as well as the Apollo gig!!) they did it back in June (captured it on IQ - changed my life forever )
