woah...I feel a bit like I need to defend my corner here. I can't quite understand why anybody would think I would come on here to make up the fact that I had won a competiton for kol tickets? I am a big grown up girl, I have a very busy job and a house to run so I would definately not have the time to sit on message boards and make shit up about winning competitions, nor would I want to. Do you honestly think I would offer to take photos and videos (if i'm allowed) for those that aren't able to be there if I wasn't really going? Anyway, for those that missread between the lines, I filled out the form with my details and then one with my brothers details cos he lives in London. My brother only checks his work e-mail address on a daily basis and it filters outside e-mails so I did not want to run the risk of Radio 1 e-mailing to say he had got tickets and for my brother to not pick up the e-mail as it had gone to his junk or spam box. I have more than one e-mail address and I put one of my e-mail addresses with his details. Therefore, when my bother won a pair of tickets, Radio 1 would have to e-mail me the details of the evening as my e-mail address was with my brothers details. An e-mail that I have now received. For those that are going to wait outside, we have been told we must be there by 7.45 at the latest. They haven't said anything about what time doors open. I guess kol will be there earlier to sound check and set up. And it will definately be going out live on the radio at that time. Sorry i can't be any more help to those that want to wait outside - that's all the info we have been given. This is the last time i will be on the internet before tomorrow evning as heading straight down to London after work. Will let you all know the details on Friday! oh i've just re-read some posts, and didn't realise guys in london had preference. half my family live up there i should have just put their emails in!!! i have a feeling most of the people there tonight will be shitty c-listers though.. congrats again qotr, make the HA team proud!!
Edit: How cute of Caleb to say he hoped fans would get tickets rather than personalities...siiiigh

hahahhaa not really surprised though. define 'won'.. 'handed' or 'given' seems a more worthy substitute for the word. hey, with the current recession the bbc needs to find resources for bonuses in other ways..

HEY , i have just worked out you can record the radio on sky+ by pressing the keys on the remote ( never knew that before)
