argh i tried iexplorer and i had to download flash and flash doesnt work on my computer... whats it like? It definitely sounds like it belongs on BOTT or OBTN. It's a very psychedelic sound from the guitars with very rich, soulful vocals from Caleb. I'm not the biggest fan of the instrumental, but his vocals sound GREAT. And of course, I'll have to hear the rest of the song. |

As soon as I listened to it I thought it sounded really '80s and it reminded me of The Lost Boys (which I was obsessed with when I was about 13). And then I read the Q review of the album and it says Closer is about vampires...so maybe the Lost Boys sound was deliberate  . Too much of a coincidence otherwise!! |

i know what you mean but i think that point has been argued so much, yea they aint gonna be writing any more Joe's Heads but it doesn't mean it's a bad thing

whether it was pronounced closer, as in 'come closer to me' or like closer, as in the closing track of the album lol
