Albert Einstein said if the honey bees were suddenly gone mankind would have about 4 years left to live. Well, the honey bees are going extinct now and at the present rate in another year or so there will be no more honey bees left on earth. One year from now plus another 4 years gives us the year 2012 well thats alright then the world wont end in 2012 because honey bees arent extinct yet  |

Sorry about the double post but i was just talking to my friend about it, and her brother's friend (i think he's quite clever) has told her an asteroid is supposed to hit earth that year and Russia are already planning on nukeing out the sky.
Also i finish uni that year or 2013, so i reckon if this was to happen it'd be bloody typical, i finally get education and that's that!

Not quoting you on it I know it's what you read and your opinion and I respect that, but the Bible says no one knows the time or place when the world will end plus a lot happens before the world actually ends. I'm not trying to preach - I'm just saying what I know. But the anti-Christ and the rapture come a bit before the world ends. So I guess everyone will know that the world is coming to a close around that time when those events are taking place. But I don't believe anyone but God knows the exact time and day. It might be near 2012. Who knows? I just know that I'll be alright. BUT this is my opinion I'm not correcting anyone or trying to make anyone mad.  I didn't say the rapture would occur in 2012. I said one of the Bible's prophecies are to unfold in 2012. Don't know anymore than that though. Wasn't the world supposed to end at like midday on 06-06-06 i remember being in school and everyone counting down? No...that's just like dumb. The Mark of the beast is 666, not 662006. That whole thing was thought up by every 7th grader alive! No deep thought or critical thinking went into play. |

This is what I think, I might be wrong but this is my take on their religious status. In that interview with Caleb and Jared when they were talking about the BOTT Conference, they said that they still feared God and that they didn't talk about it that much, that they knew they weren't going to be like they are now for the rest of their lives. And that they just hoped to stay safe until then. Well, considering their upbringing, I'm pretty sure they are all Christians which means that by them saying that, they know they aren't living their lives to glorify God right now. Which is a dangerous place to be because if you are a Christian and you aren't living they way you should be, God can jerk you out of this world in a second if he wants to. That's why they said they hoped they would stay safe. Because they know they aren't living a christian life right now and they hope to stay safe until they get back to that. Once a Christian always a Christian. Once God is in you, he's there forever, there's no taking him out. You can push him away but he's always there. So, I for one am interested in seeing what happens in their lives. I can say that I'm a christian and that's one reason why I was drawn to them in the first place because I knew they were as well. I love and pray for those boys all the time  |

well it is going to be a huge change, but not the end of the world, and its at the of a cycle, that ends in december of 2012, we have to embrace that change in a positive way, the map as we know it, its not going to be the same.

Haha, this is kinda funny to me. The first time I heard 2012 mentioned as being "the end of the world" was in an Incubus song called "A Certian Shade of Green". Then about three years ago I took a Mexican Art History class in college and one of the first things mentioned was the Mayan calendar and how there are no dates after December 24, 2012 A.D. Then I was reading an interview from another band I like, Envy on the Coast, where the lead singer (Ryan Hunter) said that he also believed that the end of the world would be in 2012. And now Jared! I don't necessarily think it will be the end of the world but maybe a fresh new begining for everyone. Maybe things will get better 'cause right now I don't think it can get any worse! But I'm a see it to believe it type of person, so I'm just gonna wait for that day and see what happens |

The only beach I've been to was in Spain when we were playing a festival! The title was from an Edgar Alen Poe [the short story of Eleonora], except he said 'only by night, so we put 'The' in there to make it five syllables. All of our records are five syllables - it's just the way we are." haha this is all in good fun but... eleonara by edgar allen poe, is about him being in love with his cousin... hint hint hey caleb? haha and in the australian rolling stone he said he'd been to the beach here as well, not just in spain! yeh take that caleb, lying bastard! hehe im in a weird mood. *disclaimer* caleb is neither in love with matt or a lying bastard. |
