Hiya guys Not sure if i have posted this in the right place, but I see from the main website that if you pre-order US tickets you also get chance to pre-order a deluxe version of only by the night.... which includes:- The Bucket" (Remix by CSS) "Frontier City" (Bonus track) "Crawl" (iTunes exclusive video) "Official video for "Sex On Fire" For those of us outside the US how do we get one?.... or don't we  |

That is completely unfair. They should make that available to everyone, not just those who purchase pre-sale tickets. I'm not going to be able to make any of the US tour dates and this feels like I'm being punished for that.

I checked out the pre-sale link and this is a pre-order for an i-tunes download. That, to me, is not quite the same thing as a "Deluxe" album. I prefer to go out and buy the actual vinyl or CD because I like liner notes et al. Plus, if it's an iTunes download then the album might DRM protected, which screws anyone who doesn't use iTunes/Apple software. Yeah, I'm not liking this at all.

Seems to me there is some crappy stuff going on with their promoting on this new album.. with the stuff Jay was saying about the Ire tour and having to be an O2 customer to get the presale.. now this.. Blah. I cant make any of the US tour dates either (well i'm going to try but as it stands 8 hour drive just isn't happening).. But i really want those extras.. IMHO i think if you BUY the album, in whatever capacity (vinyl, cd, download etc) you should get all that stuff. |

Some people may have already preordered the standard copy of ObtN and it's unreasonable to expect them to buy another one just to get a couple of extras (to be honest I'm only interested in Frontier City - I'll watch the videos a few times maybe but I'm not bothered about owning a copy). Hopefully the extra stuff will be available to purchase separately, but if not, I wouldn't blame anyone for obtaining it by less legitimate means. The thing with B-sides/bonus tracks is that they could have been put on the album in the first place, but then less people would buy the singles. It's immoral. |

^^ Same here. I am also more interested in the b-sides, not so much the other stuff. I have a whole rant i could go into about record companies and their ridiculousness (not a real word, but it applies here lol) but i'll save that for another day. They get all bothered about people 'illegally' downloading music.. but then they do stupid shit like this. Argh. And you make total sense about the people who already preordered the album. That's just unacceptable to not give everyone who pays for the album all of the little extras that come along with it.

They get all bothered about people 'illegally' downloading music.. but then they do stupid shit like this. That's exactly it, everyone who's half bothered is going to get it somehow, so it's their fault. And they make just as much either way, so why even bother only putting it on some?! |

The uk usually have more benefits when it comes to Kol special releases because of the larger fan base so give it time.
Its likely to be on release in the uk+Ireland in the coming months(Watch out for the holiday season especially).

And as for the delux version that your on about, this is the bloody internet, so i should imagine it will be available at some point !
Its like them releasing extra stuff in Australia, theres loads of different versions all over the world. Especially on vinyl, but they get deleted pretty quick !!
Has everyone seen the album cover now?

I bet Frontier City will be the B-side to the Sex On Fire single, and non-US fans will be able to download it/buy the physical CD.
That'd better be the case!! Either way, I'm sure they'll make it available more widely in some format...
