Thankyou I too have no idea who Glass Candy are (some kind of disco band or so I read) and I do love Vampire Weekend but I would say KOL have done more for American music if only in the fact that they are (soon to be) 3 albums ahead of Vampire Weekend, and have therefore had more time to make an impact. Of all the modern bands in America though 4th is a pretty great place

Look out for NME whoring-about Glass Candy in the coming weeks and months I just love being cynical towards that magazine haha

Hahaa.. No doubt they will.
Oh well, for as long as they keep writing good about KOL I'll be happy enough. The day they decide to hate them. I may have to go to there offices and kill someone. Sadly, knowing NME that day will most likely come and when I'm in jail you'll know I had good enough reason.
DISCLAIMER: Jenny is not a crazy person and would not kill someone for writing bad stuff about Kings of Leon. Just hurt them. A lot.

Haha, they aren't worth it Jenny. Just laugh at them for being so fickle

haha.. very true. I really need to control my anger sometimes, but NME's fickle-ness really does annoy me.

I may be wrong here, but did NME not used to be credible? Like it talked about The Doors, Blondie, Talking Heads etc? Or am I way off?

Well I can't say I remember them there days, a bit before my time.. but from what I know it did and back when it was all nice and newspaper-like. Ah well, prehaps something new will come along that we can read, or with any luck NME will re-change it ways..

I have no idea who Lil Wayne is, but anyone who has "Lil" preceeding their name is clearly a cunt. Unless you are Lil Chris, of course.
I wasn't aware they got beaten up at truck stops for looking like fags? Sounsd like something a crap NME journo would assume by looking at them.

"They're the only group of their generation to find big chart success at home aswell as abroad"
WTF? They haven't found big chart success at home.
