If Use Somebody is such a "big change", "sell out", "looking for new fans", "not the kings we know" song then why is it not the first single? Surely if its such a good song and mainstream, then it would be the first to be let out the hat??

We haven't heard the first single. For all we know, Sex on Fire could be just like Use Somebody. I don't understand the point you're trying to make...
I'm looking forward to the new album despite not being a fan of Use Somebody.

ive never seen the problem with "selling out" as long as it's not one giant sellout and overall on the album you stick to your guns. one song to get more radio listeners attention is fine

Lets just be glad the boys are still passionate about making music and want to make more albums, some bands i adore only made a couple of albums before they either died or decided to split, and you can only hope what they might have been  |

Fact is - this new album is going to both lose and gain fans - as has every KOL album since YOYM.
Conflicting tastes in music is not only no reason to argue, but it's a stupid thing to argue about - because neither side is wrong or right.
I'm all for stating your opinion on a song - as long as you don't try and force it on others.

If people want to talk about the music, they can talk about the music, if people'd rather talk about band members, let them talk about band members.

I don't have a problem with people finding the band members attractive. I have a problem with people getting mad because they feel there are too many threads discussing the new songs, while there are hundreds of pictures to be found of each band member. That is ridiculous, considering THE MUSIC is more important than how the members look.

no it's not  i kid. i kid! having watched the home video again today and obviously hearing Use SOmebody for the second time I gotta say it's pretty damn cool actually. If you go back to Aha Shake there were alot of different sounds on that album, Because of the Times i think was a lot more of a straight forward rock record. and my point would be ...errhhh |
