i love it,should be pretty intense live.
but i cant help but think they may be taking the stadium/commercial rock thing a bit far.in an ideal world i woud have them write an Aha shake style record but i thought BOTT was an exellent compromise between the two styles.
lets hope there are some mcfearless,black thumbnail and camero type songs on this record.I suppose asking for four kicks,soft and velvet snow style is expecting too much.

Well since they have a song called Use Somebody and they happen to be words used in the song, I would think that's what it is. Also it matches the 'soaring power ballad' description in the rollingstone review, and I can see what they mean about the Journey comaprison  |

I LOVE THIS SONG! I put it on my ipod and played it the whole time I was running this morning and now I can't quit singing it. To me, it's a love song that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside and it also sounds inspirational to me. I can't wait to hear the whole thing and blast it in my car while singing along  I love you kings! |

I think its fantastic! guys bands have to move on and create new sounds only Bad bands try to play the same songs on every album. To me its very U2 which can only be a good thing!

Sorry, but I really don't like that song. It's not the KOL I like to hear, it's depressing, and that video makes me feel like this is gonna be their last album or something!!!  I really hope Sex on Fire is a fun song, because so far I've only heard downers! I don't listen to KOL to feel down, I listen to get fired up! |

i love it!
like i said before, it's totally normal that they're music now it's changing, they're humans and humans change all the time, it's more believable see a sensitive side of the kings than just see them drinking and singing songs about whores :S

Hey just listened to it, im not sure what to make of it, it sounded ok but i havent heard the full song yet, it always takes me a couple of listens to really get in to their songs, i was like that with Crawl but i love Crawl now. Im just hoping theres loads of rocking numbers that they are keeping up their sleeve, i like there slow numbers but i dont want a whole album full of them! I must admit Calebs voice is on brilliant form! and he looked so sweet in his bathrobe! LOL |
