im sure this has been asked before but wat amps do the guys use and mainly what effects ??

i think caleb uses/used a vox amp, or at least he did for the first couple of albums and i now think he uses a matchless amp

apparently he also only uses a ibanez tube screamer or just plays directly though his amp

i think matt uses, in terms of pedals, a route 66 jekyll & hyde pedal and a line 6 tonecore verbzilla

there isa decent list of things on here somewhere!

i really want to know how matt gets that sound on manhattan...

i think the line 6 tonecore verbzilla is kinda the thing you need....it has this thing called an 'octo' setting and it means the reverb comes out an octave higher, giving it a kinda orchestral/organ sound...similar to matt's sound on manhattan.....its bascially plenty of gain and reverb

Jared uses a Ampeg SVT Classic 300w head with an Ampeg 8x10 cab.

Same head as mine (American made of course)!
