Thanks - I've uploaded loads more but it's sitting in my 'media locker' ready to be posted - might get more up tonight. It's mostly interviews & TV performances up at the moment.

why couldn't she give it to someone else the selfish cunt Charming!  As a former moderator I probably miss O Dusty! more than most, but it was Buck's site and it was hers to do whatever the hell she liked with. She was not obliged to give it to anyone else and she had her reasons for shutting it down. Fuck off, Buck is a friend of mine (not you bornagirl76  I'm referring to babyciara) and in any case did you even bother to join the forum and take part in any of the conversations? She also paid for the site herself!, did all the art work/designs for that place and not to mention buy and learn new software for it. The girl is a genius! She also had a lot of her short stories that she use to write (and still does) on that site if anybody cared to have read it. It was a brilliant fan site, it was cosy too lol Even if she did hand it over to us (which she did temporarily) it would have expired anyway, and someone would have had to renew it, and it wasn't going to be any of us mods. So she decided to get rid of it, it was her site, and she pretty much did it as a hobby for herself anyway, like bornagirl76 said, she wasn't obliged to keep it running for our benefit. We did try to keep it going, but it wasn't our site, it was Buck's. and besides she had O Dusty! up for years, if you only just discovered it, tough shit. In any case, this was in the pipeline for absolute ages, she had her reasons, and we supported her decision. Running that website was practically a full time job, and she doesn't want to do that anymore. So there's no need to call her a selfish cunt. |

Can I just ask though, was Buck in contact with the Kings or their management or something?
Was the problem just all about them not acknowledging what she did for them? (and starting to go off the music).

Yeah, that's pretty much it. And she didn't like their attitude and some aspects of their behavior - enough to make her dislike them. |

The end of an era. The most upsetting part was the multiply site.There was some gold on that thing.I saved some of the best and what might be considered rare stuff like old mtv interviews and what not. Now to decide what to do with it.  The new generation will be deprived! |

Oh and the selfish cunt remark was absolutelu unecessary and the fact is that the fact that O Dusty existed at all is a blessing in its self.It may be over now but it was good while it lasted.
Overall im thankful to Buck and wont forget the time and effort she made for KOL fans.

It is a shame the site went away, but at least we had it for awhile. I tended to lurk there, like I usually do here. The galleries and magazine articles alone were unbelievable. Jay, karma to you for doing all you've done to create your multiply site. We appreciate it.
