This post comes off the back of the thread I posted regarding my concerns for the 4th album, after reading an NME magazine article.
Im assuming youve all heard the KOL B-sides, and in particular 'Head to Toe' which was released with, I think, the single of Four Kicks. Well If youve heard it, youll know that its probably one of the top 5 songs KOL have done. How brilliant are the vocals on the chorus? It's absolute filthy rock and roll, an amazing track. No suprise that it comes around the time of ASH. Then when you get a B-side that comes around the time of BOTT, you get 'woo hoo', which s you can probably tell by the title is OK, but not really in the same league as head to toe. Its frustrating that they feel the need to change in what I feel is quite drastically. Having said that I still think theyre the best band around, regardless of their slightly new sound, and ill be attending every arena gig I can make when they promote the new album...
