Hi all, New to posting (although a visitor for years... :-) ) so apologies if this doesn't come out right. Just thought I had to put my two cents in - love the new song, Manhattan, but annoyed about what's written in this review - check out the link... www.gigwise.com/news/44213/kings-of-leon-wow-crowds-at-glastonburyFollowhill also said that the BBC had asked them not to play any new songs during their slot, to which the singer disregarded before playing a somewhat mediocre new track.I mean - mediocre - it's the best track this century!!!!

Mediocre? Manhattan? This person is obviously insane and needs some help. They also said it was the only song they played off only by the night, but I thought they opened with Crawl! Most puzzling.. Though he did say it was an excellent set.. so some kudos to him for that. Anywho.. Thankyou for posting that kolstruck! Welcome to the forum

The gigwise review doesn't specifically say that Manhattan is mediocre - it could've been talking about Crawl, which is more understandable (but still wrong). As for the Daily Star, they're not exactly known for getting their facts right - for starters Caleb didn't have a broken arm, it was a dislocated shoulder. My guess is, it's just a load of bollocks.

I was thinking first as well that maybe he was talking about Crawl ('cause surely he wasn't refering to Manhattan...) but as far as I know they opened with Crawl and from the review it sounds like he's not refering to an opening track... Anyway, Manhattan's gonna be huge no matter what anyone says ;-)

people are awfully hard on crawl, I don't understand it. Its a bluesy kind of thing with great lyrics. I love it. I would think people would love it.

I think fans will love Crawl, I know I do, but imagining from an "outsiders" perspective I think Manhattan is going to be easier to take to straight away.
