Oh wow, I can't even begin to explain! It was just immense! I went to the stage whilst Fratellis were playing before them to make sure I got a good spot and every time someone left I snuck a little closer. The crowd was insane, they were too many people in the front section really, it was so rammed. My feet weren't even on the floor half the time! I was proper wedged against people and security kept telling people to move back before Kings even came out, coz we were all getting crushed at the front. Some twats tried to ruin it for everyone (there's always some). Drunken idiots who kept surging forward and almost making everyone fall over. But once they started playing it settled down and everyone was just singing every single word  Caleb was so so sweet and after one song he apologised saying something like: "I'm sorry my voice is pretty shot. I was so excited and wanted to prepare for Glastonbury, but I kinda ended up over-preparing. But hey, at least I'm drunk and having a good time! Here's to you guys, we love you, cheers" and raised his glass to us and downed his drink  They were so tight and Jared's spazzy faces just cracked me up! He was in Turbo Spazz Mode!! It was the best night ever and I'm so so so glad I was there. I cried during Manhattan, which was just amazing! And oh every song was just incredible! I was drenched in sweat by the end - like, I was soaked! Ah I can't describe how awesome it was! Just the best. thing. ever. xxx |

;DThe Kings were utterly amazing at Glastonbury! It pisses all over The Arctic Monkeys headline slot the previous year, what pisses me off the most is that they seem to be overshadowed by all this Jay Z crap and they havent had half the coverage they should have had! Calebs speeches were adorable, i just wanted to run on stage and give him a big hug, he did look nervous but i think that made me love him even more. the boys done us proud! I am sooo excited about T in the Park its gonna be huge! Totally off topic did anyone see Amy Winehouse's performance?? The word Trainwreck springs to mind! to quote the words of a KOL song "So far so good she’s absolutely wasted" never was a truer word spoken Caleb |

speaking of Amy Winehouse's it really bugged me that they showed her whole set on BBC when she wasn't even a headliner and that they only showed like 30 -40 minutes of the kings who were incredible and i loved matt he played extra hard and it seemed like he had more solo's which were reallyyyyyy good, and jareds facial expressions were great. it was also a bit annoying that jay-z had like 2 hours of him playing on bb3 i was not impressed!! i wish i went didn't have the money tho can't wait for it to be on utube lol!!! |

im so gutted i couldnt go stupid work i watched to coverage on the bbc and it was awesome!!!!! wonder when we can see the full set they played because the bbc are not showing it, just certain songs on i-player p.s- im new so ...... HELLO EVERYONE!!!!! |

Hey everybody I too was at Glasto and was front row for the kings. It was absolutely amazing. It was my first time seeing them live and they did not dissappoint!! I was practically dying as there was so much pushing going on as obviously every1 wanted to be at the front, ive now got bruises all over my arms from trying to push everyone off me from the metal barriers!! Me and my best mate went to the pyramid stage at 7am waiting for them to take the barriers down as I was determined to get to the front! We stayed there the whole day til 11 wen the kings came on. I ddnt wana leave to get food so i ate nothing all day and drank nothing as I knew I wouldnt be able to leave for a wee!! lol Anyway I was going absolutely crazy wen I saw Nacho! And then the kings came on and I was screaming my heart out. There set was immense. It ddnt feel like 90 minutes at all!! But I was just having too much fun I guess lol Anyway the icing on the cake for me was wen Caleb threw his pick into the crowd but they all just fell into the area where there was no fans, just the security. However... me and my mate were there so long we be-friended the security men and he went and got me calebs pick wen I asked for it!! I was like YESSSSS I was ecstatic and still am! These are just a few piccies I took, sorry they are crappy quality, but my camera ran out of battery so had to use my phone which is crap in comparison! Also they are mainly of caleb as he was my main focus lol! sorry to you jared, nathan, matty lovers lol Enjoy       And heres calebs pick.. a little broken at the bottom, hence why he threw it away hehe   |

i was there and it was the best gig of my life. Trani was fucking awesome, jared did this awesome scream at the end that sent shivers down my spine. i didnt cry but i felt very emotional and so proud of them all throughout the show. I thought Matt was a standout, he absolutely tore his guitar to shreds and it was glorious. i could barely look at anyone else on stage. Everyone around me was singing their heads off and jumping like crazy. i was second from barrier in front of the left hand speakers, and got there just before the Editors started (v good too btw) i couldnt tell how the people at the back were liking it but everyone around me thought it was incredible. Wasted Time was a great suprise and the new songs sounded unbelievably good. Manhattan is incredibly beautiful. i am hoping KOL put out a dvd of the footage because it was fan-fucking-tastic and i need to have it all. if i had known the bbc wouldnt show it all i would have taken more vids. here are some of my pics (i couldnt get any of nathan because his cymbals were in the way )   matt looking on as Caleb tells the crowd how awesome it is to headline       The boys saying goodnight  here is the link if you want to see the rest. i have heaps more on the comp but i better not upload them all as most are of matt :oops: :oops: www.flickr.com/photos/15646652@N08/sets/72157605901113539/Sorry, they're really blurry and rubbish, but I was getting pushed all over the place!
