so did anyone else not go to it but was so excited for KOL's performance that they should have just gone regardless? just wondering what you all thought of: 1. the performance 2. the songs 3. caleb's glastonbury love (i thought it was very sweet) 4. Highlights? for me the highlight had to be matt (of course) with his hair back to normal and looking rather fine indeed and jared's repeated gurning. you can tell he's concentrating so hard and it never fails to make me smile and say 'aw bless'. i also very much appreciated california waiting, so much so that i woke my family up playing it so loud and dancing around the living room xx

Calebs glastonbury love was truly one of the coolest things.
'This is probably one of the greatest nights of my life. And their lives.'

It was amazing. The BBC didn't show it all, but oh well. My sister was at the side of the stage cos her boyfriend got her a backstage pass, and she rang me during Milk and played half the set down the phone. It was really good sound for something being played down a phone line.

It was completely amazing. I couldn't cry 'cause I was at my mates but I had to try so hard to hold it back. I can't wait to see them now. The only thing that annoyed me was the stupid presents yackin' on about the floor tiles and their wellies when you could hear Knocked Up in the background! I was getting so angry. Shame we didn't hear any new stuff. Does anyone know if they played any that the silly BBC just didn't show?
[edit] KURERTYWAWLWHSGCS!!! I just read they did Manhatten. I'm so angry I really wanted to hear it. I had my ear up to the TV when the presenters were talkign and I was yelling that's a bloody new one! To my friend. I knew I could hear something new!

stupid bbc, they cut out all the best bits, i was glued to my telly from 7pm last night, squashing the red button hoping to hell to see the mgmt performancem, and when it came they didnt even show 4th dimensional transition, the youth OR of moons birds and monsters.

Ohhh, and as well as what I just wrote, I swear that fat old man presenter didn't like them. He was like 'why is he [caleb] mumbling on' when he was giving his little Glasto speech. He kept making these little snide remarks. Anyone else notice?
Gahh! As annoying as that was, I'm being to negative! What we did see was utterly amazing! Caleb was so nervous but so bloody brilliant! I love Jared, I thought he was a highlight. And Nathan, he kept smiling! I LOVE KINGS OF LEON!!

I now see the BBC as complete toss. They didn't play SO many songs. I'm sure they usually show the headliner longer, too. I left the pub early to get home before 11, I get there, settle down ready for them to come on at five past and when they do it takes another half hour! Who actually cares about the bloody grass and stuff that they were chatting on about?! Arggh! Rant over. The Kings were absolutely stunning! I just can't wait to see the rest of the videos, though. Especially Manhattan and Crawl, even though I would've killed to have seen them last night EDIT: Caleb did seem really nervous, didn't he. He never usually sings ALL the songs with his eyes shut! They were like, REALLY TIGHTLY shut too! Didn't stop it from being amazing though.

Hs anyone seen this? I imagine it's been posted somewhere else but just incase... www.nme.com/news/kings-of-leon/37683It says all the songs we missed, and where they were. You know when Lauren le Vern said they were going back for the Encore, they missed out Knocked Up! It was in the Encore. I thought it wa sa bit short.

I have no idea, and a horrible feeling they won't. I clicked on the info button on my digi and it said highlight's from day 2. I think Jay-Z is gonna be on a lot of red button tonight seeing as Amy Winehouse is mainly on BBC2.

It was such an amazing show. I was in tears trough the whole of Arizona.. It was such an emotional time and oh man Caleb's Glastonbury love was the bestest thing ever! and when he pronouced Glastonbury - Glastonberry, I just wanted to hug him so badly Mann they put so much into it you could just see the concentration on all their faces the whole way through.. it was the best. I actually hate the BBC right now though. When they said at the start they were gonna show a big chunk of their set, I was thinking they might miss out a couple of songs but I'm sure the whole thing will be on interactive. BUT NO! They show about half the set and even less is on interactive. Kings of Leon - I love you.
