Rockin' in the Free World (with Pearl Jam)

I was just browsing the net for any recent/interesting KoL videos and I stumbled across this old one where Caleb joins Pearl Jam at a gig in Hawaii in December '06 doing a version of Neil Young's "Rockin' in the Free World". Unfortunately it's not very long but I also found an article that says they did a similar thing last week.

Just go to Youtube and search for "Pearl Jam Virginia Beach" .. You will see the RITFW video there.. I watched it last night.. It's funny watching Ed Vedder jump into the arms of Nathan and Jared. Looked like a cheerleading routine. LOL

edit: actually, in that performance in Hawaii all of KOL were onstage with PJ - Nate, Jared & Matt were just slammin' some tambourines and singing.

Matt looks a bit lost without his guitar. Can't blame him - at least Nathan is sort of at home with a tambourine!

edit: Oh I didn't watch the second '06 video properly. I feel slightly silly having missed Matt, Nate and Jared...

Yeah, Matt didn't even join them on stage in Virginia And Jared is basically just loitering when he's not singing the chorus.

Oh that's Jared? Oops, I thought it was Matt. It's hard to tell from so far away. Looked more like Matt's sort of clothes to me. I'm not having a great night!

Jared is about half the size of the rest of the Kings (and the rest of the healthy male population!)

Lol yeah I do know what Jared looks like, I'm just saying from far away like in that virginia beach video and without his bass, it's hard to tell, especially when Matt's not there to compare. Similar hair etc. I'm not great at recognising people anyway - I have a habit of asking "who's that" half-way through films when it's one of the main characters...

Oh god, I've just realised my post came across like I was saying, "Here is a picture of Jared Followill for you to observe", ha ha! I was just posting it as a more close-up view of that gig. From far away I usually just identify Jared by his skinny silhouette
